_aboutGolf is mainly know for their outstanding simulators; regular, wide screen and surround screen.  In my opinion they are hands down the best simulators on the market.  I regularly use one at a local indoor golf facility and enjoy the accuracy and life-like play.  In 2012 aboutGolf is branching outside with a new portable LM and balance board.  The indoor balance board is installed under the turf in some facilities.  Inside Edge of Eden Prairie where I play golf in the winter has one installed in their wide screen simulator.  aboutGolf will now offer that same indoor training, teaching, and fitting technology in a portable outdoor version.  The prototypes which they had at the show were on the heavy side so portability may not be its top feature, but the data that can be collected and used is second to none.  aboutGolf uses a camera based LM that can be flipped and used on either the left or the right side, an additional camera to capture the swing, and a balance plate to measure weight transfer and such.  There are so many technical details that the computer and LM can tell you it is mind boggling.  But I do have to say I was most impressed with aboutGolf's knowledge of swing dynamics and their ability to capture what is happening with these products.  In the pictures you can see the lines that track center of gravity, weight transfer on each foot, swing path and results.

aboutGolf is stepping it up once again.  Not only can you do your training and teaching indoors, but now you can take it outdoors.  I think this a great move, since I have never been a big fan of indoor golf.  Yes aboutGolf simulators are awesome, but they still can't replace outdoor golf; thus these new products are perfect for those who can be outside working on their game.
