I was asked at the show where I think the golf industry is headed?  I think technical fittings and knowing exactly what is happening with your swing and the ball is where all the companies are headed.  It is all about being able to dial in your game.  The Ernest Sports ES12 Launch Monitor is a simple device that will be available to the average golfer and can really help dial in distances.  It looks really easy to set up and use with an iPhone.  You can download the app and start hitting shots.  The connection is wireless and you can connect it with headphones or Bluetooth headset to have audio feedback.  It will offer range data, a scorecard, video analysis and more.  It turns a simple range session into something far more valuable also allowing you to track results from one session to another. 

If it lives up to its promises, this may be one of the best new products introduced at the PGA show 2012.
