Review: PUMA '12 Apparel
There is more to PUMA than just Orange!
While PUMA has been using Rickie Fowler's popularity and his orange apparel to promote their products, they are much more than just orange pants, orange shoes, orange belts and orange polo shirts. They have a full line up of really great products in the full spectrum of colors.
It is clear that their apparel line is aimed at the younger golfer. Many of their styles are edgy and bold. The patterns and color schemes might not be for everyone, but PUMA has a very defined look. You can instantly tell when someone is wearing PUMA.
The PUMA '12 apparel line keeps much of what was great from previous generations and adds some new styles. They continue to use the highest quality dry fit materials. Here is some of the technical information from PUMA.
In the real world that means these PUMA polos are exceptionally comfortable, cool in hot weather and wash up nicely after each round. The material is really soft and lightweight.

When it comes to apparel, the cut is important too, especially for golf. I like PUMA's unique shoulders in how they moved the seam high, actually much closer to the neck. It really works well to keep the sleeves from feeling like they are bunching up around your biceps and armpits.
The rest of the shirt is cut on the slim-athletic side, yet plenty long. I tend to get a Large in PUMA shirts compared to Mediums in some other brands. In general they run just a touch smaller, so I would always opt to go up a size.

They continues to make great apparel by adding new colors, new technologies, and new designs, while staying distinctively PUMA. I continue to wear my PUMA apparel regularly and those around me seem to approve. I get many compliments about the nice looking shirts I am wearing. I can't wait to see what PUMA has in store for '13.
