The story of Stacy Lewis is an amazing one of hard work and defying the odds.  She has overcome many obstacles to get to where she is today.  It is impressive.  She is currently the #3 golfer on the LPGA tour.

The real questions I had for her were not really about her past accomplishment or about the LPGA tour, but about her current Mizuno clubs. 

She currently plays:

• She loves pounding the driver because so many golfers are shocked at both how far she hits it and the fact that it is a Mizuno driver.
• She is currently testing out a variety of degrees in the woods and hybrids.
• She changes her wedge regularly to keep fresh grooves.  She is also proud of the fact that she helped in the grind design of the MP-T11 wedges.  She asked for a couple of changes to her wedges when she first got them and Mizuno has since incorporated that into their design for the masses.
• She had the option to play any brand she wanted but after trying a few Mizuno clubs she knew that it was the brand for her.  She really enjoys the relationship with Mizuno as they work back and forth on new club design.

After chatting with her about her clubs, I walked away impressed by her down to earth, easy to talk to attitude about golf and life.  Best of luck in 2012 Stacy and Mizuno.
