Tour Edge Golf
Tour Edge has had a cult following for yeasr because their Exotics line is outstanding, yet never seems to get mentioned with the big OEMs. That hasn't stopped Tour Edge from producing some of the best 3-woods on the market. My CB4 Tour 3-wood is awesome (review here). For 2012 Tour Edge is stepping it up again with the XCG5 super 3-wood; at 11.5 degrees it is closer to a driver. It is designed for those who want to hit a fairway wood longer, but keep the head size the same. Tour Edge can make a fairway wood with that low of loft still playable because of the design. Almost the entire sole of the XCG5 wood is made of tungsten. That added weight down low allows these woods to have an extremely low CG. So golfers can still get the lift needed off the turf or off the tee, but a strong enough trajectory for added distance.
Tour Edge also introduced 3 new irons for 2012: XCG5, CU, CB. They move from extremely forgiving to Xtreme forged. So depending on your iron needs and handicap you can pic the iron set that best fits your game.
One line that didn't get a lot of discussion, but in my opinion is very solid is the T-balance Putters. I reviewed one in the belly version (review here) and have to say I was quite impressed. It isn't expensive, it just comes in a wide variety of black and white putters that work well at getting the ball in the cup.
While Tour Edge continues to kind of fly under the radar, their products are top notch. You really should check them out. Their 3-woods might just be the best on the market and their other clubs look really good too.
