UST/Mamiya Golf Shafts
There is a lot of shaft mumbo-jumbo out there about bend points, flex and torque. I think it is really hard for the consumer to know what they want or need. UST/Mamiya created the VTS line to address the issue of isolating torque in order to offer essentially 15 variations of these shafts. Depending on a golfers swing; they may need different launch characteristics, flex and torque. Some people are natural high ball hitters but still want low torque or vice versa. Often those qualities are not found in other shafts. The VTS system can dial in the exact launch conditions combined with flex and preferred torque.
They also offer the ATTAS line as their ultra premium shafts. I have been impressed by the two (ATTAS and T2) that I have reviewed and think that the ATTAS T3 should fit into their line-up very nicely.
UST/Mamiya is very popular on tour and I know why; they make great performing shafts that are designed to fit the golfer's exact needs. They also have a nice line of grips too.
