Imagine that you have finally decided to invest in the Alphard Club Booster V2 to go with your ClicGear push cart so that you can now drive it around via remote. You are learning how to navigate the course, when suddenly you get in some rough terrain, some unexpected potholes, some rocks hidden in the taller grass and then you hear a loud crunch on the bottom of your e-wheels. You damaged the battery of your Alphard Club Booster and wondering if they will honor their 2 year warranty. The Acuitiv FlorBord Armor is a skid plate for your e-wheels that fits perfectly and will protect the battery from harm and danger. Are you willing to pay an extra 10% to have that peace of mind and protection?

This is my official Acuitiv FlorBord Armor Review.

Acuitiv FlorBord Armor

Precise Fit

The Acuitiv FlorBord Armor fits the Alphard Club Booster V2 like a glove. It is designed to hug the body of the e-wheels without sliding side to side. It wraps the underside and both the front and rear edges to keep them protected. The double ended d-loop straps are designed in a way that you don’t have to adjustment every time you install it, but they are preset to the right size. The precise fit makes it almost invisible once installed meaning you don’t some ugly or flashy accessory added to your cart. .

Easy on and off

The Acuitiv FlorBord Armor is secured to the Club Booster V2 with bungee style straps that easily clip and unclip into hooks with d-loops. The 8 rubber pads on the inside act as shock absorbers which also keep the skid plate from rattling. The straps are the perfect length from the factory so once it is on, it is on, and then a quick unclip and it is off. The downside of how it fits is that you need to take it off to remove or charge the battery. If there was a little notch by the battery charging port you could pretty much leave it on all of the time for easier transportation and usage.

Stainless Steel Skid Plate Function

The Acuitiv FlorBord Armor is a stainless steel skid plate for your Alphard Club Booster V2. It serves the exact same function a skid plate does on a truck or SUV. This skid plate protects the underside of the E-wheels from rocks, roots, curbs, or anything that might damage the battery of your Club Booster. Once you install it, you really don’t even notice it is on, but you have peace of mind that your battery is safe. It is strong, tight and will protect your e-wheels from damage. It doesn’t slow it down or add enough weight to even consider effects on battery life. It functions just as promised.

Is This A Necessary Accessory?

Do you need this accessory if you have an Alphard Club Booster V2? It is roughly a 10% additional cost to protect your battery. Alphard offers a 2 year warranty on their product, but do you want to test that warranty if your battery has a huge gouge or crack in it? While you can be a careful driver; there are still plenty of unseen dangers lurking on the course or chances that you could steer it the wrong way off a curb, into a root or over an unseen rock.

Summary

The Acuitiv FlorBord Armor for Alphard Club Booster V2 is a skid plate to protect the battery of your e-wheels. It is a 10% investment to keep it safe from rocks, roots, curbs or any other unforeseen object that could damage your battery. Why risk a warranty rejection from damage when you can simply strap on this precisely fit stainless steel skid plate? If you are a devout Alphard Club Booster V2 user, I think this offers peace of mind and protection during every 18 holes of golf you play.
