Adidas continues to push the boundaries with their new shoes. I tried their futuristic styled shoe: Codechaos BOA 25. I used these for 6 rounds of golf as well as a couple days a week at the office. I am impressed by their comfort, support, traction and materials. Like any BOA shoe, I love how that system offers a precise fit. If you want to wear shoes from the future, the Adidas Codechaos BOA 25 Spikeless Golf Shoes are awesome.
This is the definitive Adidas Codechaos BOA 25 Spikeless Golf Shoes Review for 2024.
What is Codechaos?
A supercharged shoe that shakes up the status quo. Adidas introduced us to Codechaos back in 2020 with shoes unlike anything we had seen. They have evolved that line into one of the most futuristic shoes in golf. The Adidas Codechaos BOA 25 Spikeless Golf Shoes are a bold step forward with the combination of recycled materials and bold looks. Yet with all of that said, these are currently one of the best spikeless shoes you can wear.
Lightstrike + BOOST Cushion
Comfort and Support are the 2 best words to describe the benefits of the Codechaos BOA 25 Shoes. The combination of Lightstrike +BOOST means every step is comfortable, soft and yet supported. Adidas has been using this material now for over a decade and there is no reason to change because of the balance of cushion and support. It is under the entire footbed from heel to toe.
Futuristic Style
Adidas has certainly been creative with the Codechaose line. These have a unique blend of colors, materials, and styles. The pink soles really pop on each step or swing while the white and grey mesh have a swirled pattern. The zip up shroud is offset the center and has the Adidas Three Stripe subtly displayed. The sole pattern wraps up the side of the shoe in a wave pattern. The BOA Fit System is mostly hidden under the shroud other than the dial on the side. The multiple color as work well for a bold yet stylish shoe.
Spikeless TRACTION
Twist Grip is the spikeless sole of the Codechaos 25 BOA shoes is improved and offers eve more traction than previous versions. I realize nothing can offer the lockdown to the ground like spikes do, but these are the next best sole you can use. I was impressed with the sheer strength of traction these shoes offers. The new “swiggle” spikes don’t get filled with dirt and grime, which means they offer a ton of traction no matter the turf conditions. They still feel overall smooth which serves these shoes well when walking off the course, or even in the office.
Golf Performance
The Adidas Codechaos BOA 25 Spikeless Golf Shoes are ready for 18 holes right out of the box. They are comfortable the moment you put them on. The BOA Fit System dials up perfect adjustment and fit. The other area these really shine is the support the offer. I appreciate their ability to keep my feet from moving around, rolling, or sloshing while walking or swinging. You can “swing for the fences” and these shoes will still keep your feet in place. I like how well they repel dirt, how well they grip the ground and even in wet conditions they are waterproof. These offer golf performance that will be good well into the future.
Summary
The Adidas Codechaos BOA 25 Spikeless Golf Shoes look futuristic and offer everything your golf game needs today and tomorrow. The BOA Fit System offer a precise fit while Boost gives you cushion on each step. The offset zipper shroud with recycled materials have both comfort and support. Adidas has us living the future now and these shoes are one of the best spikeless shoes you can buy.
