Bag Boy CB-15 Cart Bag Review

The Bag Boy CB-15 Cart Bag is a cart bag with a 15-way top (14 club slots and a separate putter well), three big spine pockets and four bold designs. I used it for multiple rounds on a power cart and on the Bag Boy Nitron push cart. It kept my clubs apart, rode securely and carried everything I needed for 18 holes, and it looks as good as it works.

The 15-way top

I’m a huge fan of 14-way tops for their organization, separation and function on the course, so a 15-way top is easy to like. The CB-15 has 14 regular club slots and a separate putter well.

If you play in Arizona, that gives you a slot for a desert club, a ball grabber or a training aid. I can keep everything I need for practice and a round loaded in the top without two clubs binding against each other in the same slot. The putter well is also really big, so it takes any grip.

Riding and pushing

The CB-15 is set up to ride on a power cart or a push cart. The Top-Lok system keeps the bag in place without twisting, and a pass-through slot for the straps secures it to the cart cleanly.

Nice top handles make it easy to get the bag out of the trunk and onto a cart. The carry strap is big and works for short carries, and the base is balanced, so the bag stands upright at the bag drop or at home. It’s light enough for an easy carry from the car to the cart.

Pockets and storage

Three big spine pockets carry just about everything you need for 18 holes. The top one is large enough for a rangefinder, golf balls and accessories like ball markers and tees, and the second holds extra balls or other accessories.

The large bottom pocket is the cooler pocket. You can fill it with ice and drinks, and it holds multiple cans in case the beverage cart doesn’t come around fast enough. Each side of the bag has three symmetrical pockets for valuables, rain gear and shoes, and every zipper is strong and easy to pull.

Four bold designs

If you’ve ever arrived at a bag drop full of bags that all look the same, the CB-15 stands out. The Stars and Stripes is a beautiful patriotic bag, the Green Skulls has an “evil” golfer look, the charcoal Stars and Stripes is as cool as a “military” bag can look, and the Sky Blue, Navy and Red is simply an awesome combination.

You can pick your bag out quickly and you’ll get compliments on the style. The four options let you express yourself without being too wild or weird.

Should you buy it?

Yes, if you ride or push and want a cart bag that looks as good as it works. The Bag Boy CB-15 Cart Bag has a 15-way top that keeps clubs separate, a Top-Lok system for both kinds of cart and pockets that cover a full round.
