Have you ever went searching for a club in your golf bag, frantically looking through every slot?

Your digging and scouring each slot, but it was in the back and hard to see; what if there was a better way?

The Bag Boy Revolver XP Cart Bag isn’t their newest bag, but the convenience is finding a resurgence as the spin top makes it easy to find the club you need for the next shot.

No matter how your bag is sitting in the cart, you can spin the “lazy susan” top and bring the club right to you.

Not only does it spin, but it locks the shafts into the bag so that they don’t chatter.

If you haven’t seen this bag over the last couple years, now is great time to consider this highly functional bag that rotates the clubs to you with it’s 15-way top paired with ample storage.

I only needed a few rounds to see why this “oldie but goodie” is finding its way back into popular usage.

This is my official Bag Boy Revolver XP Cart Bag Review.

Bag Boy Revolver XP Cart Bag

Spin and Lock 15-Way Top

The Bag Boy Revolver XP Cart Bag is all about the top.

The perfectly round top has 14 slots that are designed like a “lazy susan” to spin 360* so that you can easily find the club you are looking for with ease.

The 15th slot is a putter well on the side which is large and also has a locking slot to keep it from sliding or moving.

The 14 way top also has slots for locking the clubs into the bag so that they don’t chatter and easily rotate.

It sits securely in the cart and then just spin the top to bring the clubs to you.

No more searching and shuffling through all the clubs to find that 6-iron, just spin and it appears right in front of you.

Clubs Ride The Way You Want Them

There are 3 ways that tops of golf bags are designed: slant forward, slant back or flat.

They tend to be designed with a stadium like design for push cart or power cart.

The flat bag is more universal, but doesn’t offer stepped clubs for either cart.

The Bag Boy Revolver XP Cart Bag while the top is flat still offers the best for both carts because of the rotating top for easy positioning and retrieval of club off a power cart or push cart.

It eliminates the need for “stadium” style stacking. Plus it has the Lok-Top which means it rides perfectly secure in Bag Boy push cart.

Purpose and Style

Bag Boy designed this cart bag with purpose.

This is one of the more ingenious bags on the market.

It has been around for a couple years already and has recently made a comeback with some social media love.

The top, the size, the style all make this a great choice to upgrade your cart bag if you walk or ride.

It is a fairly heavy bag and XL in size, but yet it rides nicely next to other bags.

It has a nice style that comes in 7 colorways.

You can go from plain to colorful to bold to patriotic.

This bag is full of purpose and looks nice while doing it.

The straps, the handles, the clips, the pockets, etc, it is all about purpose.

Pockets Where You Want Them

The Bag Boy Revolver XP Cart Bag is a symmetrical bag.

It has spine pockets and then matching pockets on each side.

The spine pockets can take care of almost everything you need for 18 holes.

The cooler pocket in the middle is much bigger than it looks so you can get plenty of cold beverages in there for combating the summer heat.

The top pocket is great for balls and rangefinder.

The lower pocket is big for additional balls and accessories.

The side one can easily accommodate rain gear and even extra shoes. You can load this bag up and it is really strong, solid and secure.

The zippers are easy to use with large pulls.

The only complaint was that the towel clip is on the right side, which is great if you are a passenger, but kind of jams up the middle if you are driving.

Summary

The Bag Boy Revolver XP Cart Bag is all about function.

The resurgence of this bag is a testament to the benefits of this “lazy susan” top which spins to bring the clubs to you.

No more digging and searching for clubs, just spin the top.

The pockets are well appointed and the design allows for great usage on a power or push cart.

Just because it isn’t their newest bag, there is a reason it is still in the line-up because of its function on the golf course.

Not only does the 15-way top spin, but it also locks the clubs in place for avoiding chatter.

This bag offers a functional, easy and quiet ride.

The top and bottom work well in both a push or power cart.

Does your cart bag act like a “lazy susan” and spin the clubs to you?

Don’t write this bag off because it isn’t new for 2025, it still brings some of the best function for your 18 holes.
