REVIEW: CaddyDaddy Claw Golf Glove

A Game Changing Golf Glove??
We look for the greatest game changing tech in drivers and irons. We hope that the newest app with revolutionize the game of golf. We might even believe that a different cart will alter the sport forever. But I doubt we think about a glove being the next big thing. CaddyDaddy wants to change the golf glove game. They aren’t making just another stylish glove; they made a completely different glove. The CaddyDaddy Claw Golf Glove has a flexible silicone palm and a stretchy mesh back which is a departure from the standard leather golf glove. They believe it is the next evolution of golf gloves. I think they are on to something with the Claw glove.
CaddyDaddy started by making golf coolers so that you could enjoy cold beverages on the course.  Their newest product they hope will change the glove game.  While the company name doesn’t scream cutting edge or game changing, their Claw glove is legit.  I’m like most golfers and wear a traditional leather glove for every non-putter shot.  Playing in the AZ heat almost requires a glove to deal with sweaty hands.  I can’t say I have any “must wear” model or brand,  I usually just wear whatever I have handy or buy on-sale gloves at the store.  They are mostly cabretta leather; palm and top.  It is the “go to” material for golf gloves.  When CaddyDaddy approached me with their “game changing” glove, I was skeptical.

I have worn a CaddyDaddy Claw golf glove now for 8 rounds and it still looks like brand new, it is virtually the same as when I took it out of the package.  That in and of itself is pretty impressive.  While it hasn’t been 110* in AZ, it still has been warm enough to create sweaty hands.  The breathable stretchy back is nice for keeping my hand cool.  It also makes it very easy to put on; it slides on very easily no matter the conditions, heat or sweat level.  The sizing is spot on too, I wear a L in most brands and the L Claw glove fits perfectly.

The real secret to the CaddyDaddy Claw golf glove is the palm.  It uses a Flex-Mesh design with a silicone-web coating for amazing flexibility, durability and most of all grip.  Air flows through the glove on the palm side which keeps your palm from getting too sweaty.  The silicone-web coating allows minimal pressure yet maximum grip.  You barely need to squeeze at all and the grip won’t move in your hand.  This is helpful for many golfers to improve their grip pressure.  This could actually gain shots for golfers if they grip too tightly.

The CaddyDaddy Claw golf glove doesn’t get crusty between rounds like your leather glove does, and even if it did for some reason, you can throw it in the washing machine and clean it up like new again.  They claim the Claw glove has 3 to 5 times more rounds in it than a leather glove.  Honestly it might even be more than that.  The Claw gloves so far show no signs of wear.

The only down side I see to this glove is the name, sorry CaddyDaddy, but there has to be a better logo and branding that could be put on this glove.  I know the glove is actually called the Claw, so even that branding would be better on the glove.  If they want to be taken seriously, the branding needs to be fixed because this truly is a game changing product: no more crusty gloves, no more sweating through a glove in 1 round, no more slippery palms; comfortable grip round after round.  At $20, do yourself a favor and try a CaddyDaddy Claw Golf Glove, it is well worth the minimal investment.  It is comfortable, breathable, and grips like glue to your clubs.
