Cigman CT-1200 PRO Laser Rangefinder Review
A Display Big Enough For Anyone To Read
One complaint that I have heard over the years is that laser rangefinders are not user friendly for older golfer that have poor eyesight or shaky hands.
It is too hard to use them and see the yardages.
This often means that this technology is passed over by golfers in favor of something with a large GPS display.
However that means some of the benefits of accurate distances to any object and all golf season long battery life are passed on by numerous golfers.
The Cigman CT-1200 PRO Laser Rangefinder addresses that golfing population with a laser that includes a large display on the side of the unit showing the distance to the flag without having to squint at the little numbers in the eyepiece.
It does both slope and non-slope with the push of a button.
It has excellent flag lock so that even shaky hands can acquire the distance easily. Plus it does all this for $76.50 (with IGR15 coupon).
This is my definitive Cigman CT-1200 PRO Laser Rangefinder Review.

Compact Laser With Big Display
The Cigman CT-1200 PRO Laser Rangefinder is one of the smallest rangefinders you can buy.
It makes just about anyone’s hands feel very large.
However it also has the biggest display of yardage of any laser I’ve used.
One entire side of the unit is a touch screen display that gives you all the yardage details typically found in the eyepiece of the rangefinder.
This makes it easy to read and double check if you forgot what you yardage you just read.
The yard is also displayed in the eyepiece so you don’t have to look at the side screen if you don’t want to.

No Magnet
The Cigman CT-1200 PRO Laser Rangefinder does not have a magnet on the side like most laser rangefinder do.
It feels like kind of a miss to me, since many of the golfers in the target audience for this laser probably ride in a power cart.
However because it is so compact, it fits easily in any cup-holder, glove-box or pocket while golfing so it can still stay ready for action without a magnet.
It is perfect for the walking golfer because it doesn’t have a magnet and is so lightweight and compact.

USB Rechargeable Battery
One of the of best reasons to use laser rangefinders is their all season long battery life.
They only need to use a burst of battery for a few seconds on each hole and then shut off.
The Cigman CT-1200 PRO Laser Rangefinder uses the universal USB-C port to recharge the battery.
From my 7 rounds with this laser, it is going to laser most of a golf season without recharging it, even with the big bright display on the side.
However, I’d probably plug it in after a couple months just to be on the safe side.
It is quick and easy to fill the battery level back up to full for your next few months of golf.

Clear Optics
The big selling point of the Cigman CT-1200 PRO Laser Rangefinder is the side display of numbers, but the regular optics are surprisingly really good too.
I think I assumed that they put their effort into the external display maybe doing less with the internal display.
However the optics for seeing and acquiring distances is super clear and easy to lock onto the flag.
I was impressed by the 6x zoom that was vivid and bright and even with a little shaky hand here and there it still locked on the flag.
It may be small, but it was powerful and functional for all 18 holes.

Summary
The Cigman CT-1200 PRO Laser Rangefinder is $89 right now and if you use code IGR15 it is $76.50.
You are going to be hard pressed to find a better laser rangefinder at a lower price.
Yes, it doesn’t have a magnet, but a big display, clear optics, accurate distances and long battery life make this a bargain.
If you are in the market for a new laser rangefinder and have struggled with seeing the yardages, this one has numbers so big anyone can read them.
