Cobra DS-Adapt LS 3-Wood Review
The Year Of The Snake Is Sneaky Long
It is the year of the snake according to the Chinese calendar. It seems fitting that Cobra would create its best line of woods yet in the DS-Adapt series.
I’ve gamed the LS 3-wood now for multiple rounds and after every hit I’m impressed by how sneaky long it is.
I tested it in the iGR Office by Carl’s Place DIY Simulators and found the numbers to be just as impressive as the on-course results were.
This compact bomber is going to be turning some heads on the course with its stealthy good looks and sneaky long distance.
This is my official Cobra DS-Adapt LS 3-Wood Review.

Do adjustable hosels matter?
While many of us set it and forget it; the ability of the FutureFit33 hosel system to “micro” dial in a golfer is impressive.
Instead of 2* one way or the other, you can get .7* adjustments which tends to be more what golfers need and also doesn’t drastically change the look of the club behind the ball.
This new hosel makes it the best adjustable 3-wood on the market.
It also does it without getting clunky or too many complicated letter and number combinations, but everything is marked on the inside of the sleeve.
Cobra jumped ahead of the competition with this new fitting system.

Titanium/Carbon 3-Wood
The Cobra DS-Adapt LS 3-Wood has a titanium face and body with a carbon crown.
This construction is like most drivers on the market.
This new trend is showing up in the highest performing 3-woods and the DS-Adapt LS is one of the best.
The LS stands for Low Spin which is one of the best features of this 3-wood, but I think it could be SL too for Sneaky Long.
The sounds of this club is muted and very pleasing to the ear, but maybe not the most “powerful” sound.
However shot after shot ended up about 10 yards further than I expected.
It was really cool hitting it past my playing partners drivers with a 3-wood.
The titanium face is really hot and the the carbon crown allows them to really make use of the adjustable weights.

LS Weights
The titanium face and carbon crown certain drive the low spin of this club, but the weights are the tuning part of the sole for feel, spin, launch and forgiveness.
The Cobra DS-Adapt LS 3-Wood comes stock with the weights heavy by the face and light in the back which means the lowest spin you can get.
If you want a certain shot shape or more launch you could move a heavier weight to the back.
However I didn’t see the need since I hit this club so straight and had plenty of launch, even for a 14.5* head.
The 3 weights allow for even more adjustability of this 3-wood.

H.O.T. Face
The ball just hops off the forged face which has a huge sweet spot.
Cobra really dialed in the needs of golfers with this face allowing maximum forgiveness while still providing incredible speeds.
The driver face tech which golfers have some to expect is now found in this 3-wood.
The combination of construction of this club with the H.O.T. Face make the ball launch off this face.
It is soft enough and the club is muted enough that it might not feel that hot, but the results are amazing.

On-Course Performance
You’ve probably got it figured out by now that this club was sneaky long on the course.
I could hit this club on a narrow fairway expecting to find the ball around 240-250 range only to go another 10 yards to see it in that 250-260 range.
The combination of low spin allowed it to run out on firm fairways while still going straight.
I found the 14.5* head to launch the ball plenty high.
I’m not sure that I could see the difference visually of a .5* difference in loft, but lower loft always helps with lower spin.
I hit this club with confidence off the tee or deck.
It is very compact and clean looking behind the ball too.
I was able to hit the green on a par 5 with 2 shots with this 3-wood which means the Cobra DS-Adapt LS 3-Wood is long.

Summary
It is the year of the snake and Cobra brought their best stuff to the party.
I’m blown away with how good the Cobra DS-Adapt LS 3-Wood is at being sneaky long and yet easy to hit.
It is one of the longest 3-woods in 2025 and yet one of the easiest to hit straight.
The titanium/carbon construction has this club offering driver like performance in a compact stealthy looking package.
The new FutureFit33 hosel is the best on the market offering “micro” adjustments for an even better fit.
Don’t sleep on Cobra in 2025 because the DS-Adapt LS 3-wood is one of the best.
