Cobra DS-Adapt LS Driver Review
The Year Of The Snake: Don’t Sleep On This Sneaky Low Spin, Straight and Long Driver
2025 is the “Year Of The Snake” and Cobra brought their best clubs to the party. The DS-Adapt wood line is sneaky good.
The all black, stealthy looks, paired with muted sound and feel at impact has amazing results as the ball just goes and goes.
The Cobra DS-Adapt LS Driver is billed as their low spin, compact, “players” driver and it is all of that and then some.
This is one of the easiest, fastest, longest and straightest drivers I’ve hit in 2025. It might not win the top spot in any single category; it dominated when all factors are considers.
I played this club in my bag for 6 rounds and in the iGR Office by Carl’s Place Simulator.
Don’t sleep on the Cobra DS-Adapt LS Driver, it is an all-around high performing driver.
This is my definitive Cobra DS-Adapt LS Driver Review.

LS=Sneaky Long Low Spin
The Cobra DS-Adapt LS Driver is their “tour inspired” model with compact size, low spin design and adjustable weights.
Stock set up is neutral low spin, but you can move the weights for more fade, or more height.
I was surprised by the low spin performance of this driver because swing after swing it didn’t feel demanding or too low spin, but the ball just ran out drive after drive.
The distance kind of snuck up on me as the GPS kept saying the drives were longer than I expected.
The sneaky long and low spin drives were impressive on the course, hit after hit.
The ball finished around that 300 yard drive hole after hole.

Sneaky Good: Straight and Forgiving
The Cobra DS-Adapt LS Driver was sneaky good at finding fairways too.
I was surprised that the compact and low spin model was also really straight and forgiving.
While not 10K or MAX forgiving, but really good for a 445cc head.
I found fairways and I found them right down the middle and long.
It sneaks up on you after you get done with your round and realize how many good drives you hit, even if you didn’t feel like your swing was perfect for all 18 holes.
The tall H.O.T face is great for maintaining high speeds and forgiving my miss-hits so that they still went straight and fast.
The flight was often better than the swing.

FutureFit33
The 2025 Cobra woods are future-proof with a new hosel system that has 33 different settings and “micro” adjustments to fit for the upcoming years.
Even if your swing changes, you have a club that can match it.
While I’m a pretty stock setting kind of guy, the Cobra DS-Adapt LS Driver has the ability to adjust to my swing flaws and fix that baby fade or draw into a straighter shot.
It also can adapt to the look you might prefer at set-up with a more open face or closed face as well as upright and flat lie.
These simple changes can be vital to getting the most out of this sneaky good driver.
