Duca Del Cosma Osimo Golf Shoes Review

The Duca Del Cosma Osimo Golf Shoes are Italian-styled spikeless shoes that blur the line between golf shoes and street shoes. In clean white leather with green accents, they gave me support and comfort for 18 holes right out of the box, and they look just as good off the course. If you’ve adopted spikeless shoes like I have, they combine style with real performance.

Italy is known around the world for its fashion, especially its shoes. The Osimo’s Italian heritage shows in the style, and its golf roots show in the support and comfort.

Italian style

The Osimo has a clean, all-white look with hints of green in the stitching, the sole and the optional laces. The white leather looks crisp enough for a night out on the town, and the tall sneaker shape looks fresh. The shoes come with two sets of laces.

They work on the course with either pants or shorts. They match almost anything you’d wear, which makes them an easy choice on golf days and a stylish one for everyday wear.

Support and all-day comfort

The uppers combine leather and microfiber for support that stays comfortable. I could walk 18 holes in them right out of the box, and after five rounds they still gave good support for aggressive swings. My foot felt “locked in,” yet the shoe is soft enough for all-day wear, even off the course.

Inside, INSITE ArchRelief insocks give great arch support for walking, standing and swinging. The mesh lining lets your foot breathe, so the shoes don’t overheat when you’re walking in summer heat.

I judge golf shoe comfort at two times: how my feet feel during 18 holes and how they feel after. The Osimo gave me comfort, support, cushion and stability at both.

Spikeless grip

I’m a big fan of spikeless shoes because I can wear my golf shoes on or off the course, and that’s clearly a selling point of the Osimo. Plenty of golfers firmly believe in spikes for serious rounds, but this outsole has three different tread types with three-point lugs and six-sided nubs. Duca Del Cosma calls it Airplay Venezia.

That combination works really well on turf. I had very little slippage over 18 holes, and I liked the spikeless outsole for walking.

Fit and waterproofing

The Italian leather and design create a fit, shape and support that work for both walking and swinging. Duca Del Cosma says the shoe is built on a Comfort Last with an average fit that suits a broad range of foot profiles.

The brand also lists a waterproof bootie system with a gusseted tongue, which I haven’t put to the test in this review. Treat it as Duca Del Cosma’s claim until you’ve seen them in the rain.

Should you buy it?

Yes, if you want a stylish spikeless golf shoe you can wear every day. The Duca Del Cosma Osimo Golf Shoes bring Italian street style to the course with all-day comfort and support, and they go from the course to the street with ease.
