Since I’ve started reviewing products over 15 years ago a repeated theme that I’ve promoted is fitting. I can help you learn what worked for me and might help narrow down the selection process, but getting the right club for you is still the most important factor when it comes to filling your golf bag. Edel Golf has been all about fitting from the very beginning.

The Edel Golf Array F1-CS Putter is fully customizable right off their webpage to get you into the best fitting putter you can choose. The adjustable weights, the different alignment plates, the different head shapes, the different hosel position and picking your loft/lie allows the golfers to get dialed into the exact putter they need on the greens. I’ve been impressed by the roll and consistency with which this putter strikes the ball on the green putt after putt. If you are looking to upgrade your putter to some more consistent with great balance and feel that you can customize (without upcharge) then check this one out.

This is my definitive Edel Golf Array F1-CS Putter Review.

Edel Golf Array F1-CS Putter

Customizing Balanced Putting

I know I have been raving about zero-torque putters, but there is still something to be said about regular balanced putters. The Edel Golf Array F1-CS Putter is a center shafted face balanced putter that can be fit to your preferences with weights, hosel and alignment. I went centershaft with the T alignment and kind of the mid/heavy weight model. I found it to be very balanced and easy to align. I’ve been very happy with the ease of alignment and the consistency of putts.

Edel Face Pattern

The Edel Golf Array F1-CS Putter has a 1025 Carbon Steel face with this incredible looking hex pattern. It is designed to offer a smooth roll on every strike, even if you miss “dead center” of the face once and while. I loved the hot feel of this face as the ball rolls quickly forward and smoothly on target. I noticed that the combination of heavy face with back weight made this a very balanced putter. The speed control took a little practice as the ball jumps off the face and the putter imparts plenty of energy into each putt.

Center Shafted

The Edel Golf Array Putter line comes in heel shafted and center shafted options. It is purely a preference as to how you like to feel your putter. I’ve been gaming a number of center shafted models lately so I picked the Array F1-CS Putter. It has amazing balance and was very easy to keep the face square during the stroke. It just feel so balanced with the weight forward and the weights back. As I’ve been reducing the amount of arch in my putting stroke, this face balanced putter is a great fit for a more straight back/straight through putting stroke. I really liked the T-alignment with the center shaft behind the ball.

Rolling It On The Greens

The Edel Golf Array F1-CS Putter is putter that inspire confidence. It doesn’t matter whether it is 20 foot slider or a 4 foot knee-knocker, there is a sense of calmness that comes over with this putter in hand. It puts a consistent roll on the ball and the putter itself stays balanced during your stroke. I didn’t make every putt, but I certainly gave the ball a chance on the majority of my putts. It is a “fast” putter so dialing in the speed took a few rolls to get the touch down, but the line was right almost every time. If you need balance, feel and speed this putter is going to be a perfect fit.

Summary

The Edel Golf Array F1-CS Putter is a fully customizable putter at purchase. You don’t need to get through a ton of hoops or spend hundreds of extra dollars, but pick the hosel, the style, the alignment, the weight, the length and roll a putter that fit your stroke. This putter has amazing balance with the heavy face paired with back weights. The center shafted face balanced putter makes it easy to hit consistent putts. The speed is high so you shouldn’t leave your putts short either. All in all, this is one nice, consistent and customizable putter.
