Evnroll ZERO Z1 Putter Review
The Sweetest Face Paired With The Hottest Tech Makes For One Accurate Putter
For the second half of this year I rolled a zero-torque putter.
The newest one I used for the last month was the Evnroll ZERO Z1 Putter.
It has the ever outstanding SweetFace technology, now paired with a reverse offset hosel which creates their version of the new tech.
While each zero-torque putter has a learning curve, this one is incredible accurate.
This is my definitive Evnroll ZERO Z1 Putter Review.

SweetFace Tech
You pretty much can’t go wrong with any Evnroll putter because of the SweetFace tech.
The variable face grooves mean that you have the most forgiving and consistent face on a putter.
The ball rolls quickly and smoothly forward on perfect putts as well as off center putts.
The face of an Evnroll putter never disappointed and the ZERO Z1 puts an excellent roll on the ball straight toward the hole consistently, putt after putt.

ZERO Alignment
The Evnroll ZERO Z1 Putter has 2 lines that go from the face to the back of the putter with a big ZERO hole in the mallet.
This serves as an easy alignment to point those lines through the ball and into the cup.
The hole acts as a visual cue to push the ball straight ahead.
The large mallet head is well balanced and easy to align putts on the intended line and roll them.

Reverse Offset Hosel
Everyone does zero-torque technology a little differently.
There is a funky goose neck hosel, the standard center shaft, and now the reverse offset hosel.
This pushes the CG toward the back of the putter and balances the face to resist twisting at impact.
You can “swing” this putter and the face will remain pointing at your target line, especially at impact.
This helps get your hands in front of face as the shaft angles forward out of the hosel.
It gives this unconventional putter a slightly more conventional look, even if it is backwards.

Details
The Evnroll ZERO Z1 Putter has one of the “coolest” stock headcovers that has a big ZERO on it surrounded by penguins.
I think it is a brilliant touch. The thick pistol grip is very soft and comfortable in the hands.
The sole of the putter has heavy tungsten weights right under the face which keep the weight forward which I appreciate for proper feel when putting.
The ZERO hole on the putter not only serves as a visual alignment tool, but also can pick up the ball off the green without bending down, just push the putter on top of the ball and it sticks to the bottom.

Face Forward Performance
As I mentioned above, every Zero-torque putter has a learning curve, the Evnroll ZERO Z1 Putter was no different.
My first round was a little up and down with some perfect rolls and some 3 jacks.
Most of that had to do with my hand position when setting up.
The bottom of this putter has an up-sweep on the back so if you set it flat on the ground your hands will be too far back increasing the loft of the putter significantly making it hard to get the best roll on the ball.
Once I got my hands in the forward press position at set up, this thing dropped bombs.
The ball rolls so smooth and straight at the hole.
It did take repeated concentration, but it did reward with repeated putts in the hole.

Summary
2024 was the year of zero-torque putters and the Evnroll ZERO Z1 Putter is one of the best versions of that by combining their SweetFace tech with a reverse offset hosel for perfect balance and easy alignment.
If you demo one make sure to get your hands in the forward press position so that you can make full use of the technology and benefits of this putter.
Since not all zero-torque putters are the same, remember there is a learning curve, but once you get this one dialed in, you are going to love the results on the green.
