The Perfect Golf Hoodie
The Fergus Hybrid Hoodie by Galway Bay is the PERFECT Golf Hoodie. I’m a huge fan of the hoodie movement in golf and from November to February I wear one almost every time I play golf in AZ. It is perfect because it is warm in the right places, has lots of stretch, is super comfortable, and looks stylish. The body quilting is the perfect blend of warmth and breathability. It is perfect for golf between 40*-65*. It keeps the core warm without overheating. The sleeves are thin and stretching which is all a golfer needs. The hood is similar to the sleeves and works great to keep the neck warm and can be worn when the wind blows. If the weather gets worse than I’m comfortable wearing the Fergus Hybrid Hoodie, then I probably don’t want to play golf. It is weatherproof, not waterproof. I’ve worn a lot of hoodies and this is the PERFECT golf hoddie.

Everyday Waterproof Chinos
Golf pants and rain pants were 2 different things until Galway Bay introduced the Claddagh Chino Rain Pants. I wore these to the office with surprisingly numerous compliments as well as golfing buddies making mention of the pants I was wearing. I love not only the kind words about the pants I’m wearing, but the comfort, fit and function. While I don’t play much golf in the rain in AZ, the damp cart seat, the dew sweeping early rounds, the mud and grime that gets kicked up while playing means that having waterproof chinos is far more useful that anticipated. Many rain pants come in S,M, L, XL while the Claddagh Chinos are sized like pants with waist and length options. I found my regular pant sizes to be a perfect fit. They also have a nice thickness to the material when it is cool, yet plenty of flex and breathability for comfort on or off the course.

Lightweight Rain Jacket That Works
I don’t play golf in the rain, unless I’m on a trip or if weather sneaks up on my round. The Corrib Rain Jacket is the newest model in Galway Bay’s extensive and impressive line up of rain gear. It is a lightweight, breathable and flexible rain jacket that will keep you dry and warm in moderate conditions. The 4-way stretch and tailored fit make it perfect to wear even when it isn’t raining. I found it nice to wear when the cool breezes are blowing early in the morning in the winter months in AZ. I love the full zipper for on and off and was impressed that it didn’t leak air there either. It did not restrict my swing and looked good, while offering rain protection if I needed it.

Summary
Galway Bay Golf Apparel is expanding into more than just rain gear. They offer the best hoodie for golf, some amazing waterproof chinos and a lightweight rain jacket which is the core of their brand. If you want to extend your season this spring or if you are on a golf trip to someplace warm like AZ, you still might want some comfortable, warm, weatherproof gear. Galway Bay knocked it out of the park with their stylish new options that work both on and off the course.
