GrooveIt Club Cleaning Brush Review
Scrub Those Grooves For Better Scores
Clean golf clubs will help lower your scores is a proven fact. How you get those clean grooves is entirely up to you.
Essentially the formula is pretty simple: water and something to scrub the dirt off with. I’ve tried a spinning brush attached to the cart, I used a golf “toothbrush”,
I’ve had a brush built into my towel, I seen club cleaners attached to power carts for dipping, and there is probably some contraption out there I haven’t tried.
The GrooveIt Club Cleaning Brush might just be my favorite.
Why? I like something that contains its own water, can squirt out a small amount, has firm bristles and is ergonomic for strong scrubbing.
This brush checks all the boxes for getting grooves clean during a round of golf.
I used both their wet and dry brushes for 8 rounds and find the GrooveIt Club Cleaning Brush (wet one) my favorite.
This is my definitive GrooveIt Club Cleaning Brush Review.

GrooveIt On Your Bag
Having a club cleaning tool attached to your bag increases the likelihood of scrubbing your clubs before shots.
The GrooveIt Club Cleaning Bush has a s-shaped double carabiner which then has a very strong magnet for quick detachment and reattachment to the bag.
The reservoir is filled via the top cap which also serves as the push button for squirting out water.
I found I could fill the GrooveIt brush before my round and it would typically last 18 to 36 holes depending on how dirty my clubs got.
I think detaching it from the bag is nice because then you can scrub the dirt off without getting it on your bag.

The GrooveIt Club Cleaning Brush is so easy to use.
Pump a couple shots of water onto your club, scrub it, maybe rinse with another shot of water and wipe dry.
What I appreciated about the GrooveIt form is how you hold it in your hand kind of like an ice pick with almost a stabbing like motion.
It allows the golfer to put force onto the brush to get into the grooves and scrub out dirt.
It felt natural and easy to clean your clubs.
The bristles are strong and the brush is slightly curved to get into every groove and clean out the dirt easily.

GrooveIt MiniG
GrooveIt makes a dry brush alternative called the GrooveIt MiniG.
This little brush is meant to replace that “toothbrush” that some like to clean their grooves.
It works best when you get mud on your clubs in already wet conditions.
This one uses the same stiff bristles, but instead of a closed fist type motion, you use the thumb pad to apply pressure.
One of the cool features of these are the NCAA colored aluminum MiniG brushes they offer.
You can support your favorite team while getting your grooves clean.
Here in AZ, the dirt was rarely wet enough to use the MiniG as intended, but even with the dry dirt, it scrubs pretty efficiently.

Summary
Keep your grooves clean for lower scores.
Your clubs will perform at the optimum level if you can used the full grooves on each shot.
I like everything about the GrooveIt Club Cleaning Brush.
It holds plenty of water for 18 holes, has stiff bristles, magnetically detaches from the bag, and is ergonomic to scrub with.
If you like a dry brush the MiniG is a slick little brush too.
The come in a few different colors and collaborations so we highly recommend getting a GrooveIt to keep your grooves clean to shoot your best scores.
