Armor Hard Shell Fabric
The Helix Armor Cart & Travel Bag is the most unique bag I’ve ever tested with what they call: Ultra-tough hardshell fabric reinforced with PC panels.
The golf bag is kind of hard shell that offers some flex, zippered pockets, a retractable upper club protective cover and 4 caster wheels on the base.
The main feature of this specific model is the ability to send it on a plane and pick it up at baggage claim without a separate travel bag.
It is a cart & travel bag all in one.
I really beat on the bag to test its durability and it still looks like new after being tossed around, tipped over, dropped, hit, kicked, and abused by baggage handlers.
It can go straight from baggage claim to golf cart ready for 18 holes.
The design works very well for protection and style while not feeling like a “solid formed” plastic bag.
Helix did an amazing job creating both protection and style in their armor series bags.
If comes with a soft “shell bag” that you can put around the entire bag if you are afraid of dirt and scratches while traveling.

6-Way Top for Simple Organization
The Helix Armor Cart & Travel Bag has a 6 way top that makes it simple and easy to organize your clubs.
A single putter well, a driver slot, fairway metal slot, long irons, short irons and wedges.
It keeps them separated just enough for easy in and out during your round.
It is on the smaller side of tops since the retractable top needs to fit around it yet, but you can put 14 clubs in their easily, even with the top up.
The putter well is large enough for oversized grips, but maybe not the biggest of sizes.
Pockets of Protection
There are 6 pockets on the Helix Armor Cart & Travel Bag.
There is a removable front pocket that can serve as a mini-backpack when traveling and clip back on for golf.
There are 4 side pockets, an upper and lower on each side, and then an almost full length pocket on the back.
Each pocket is zippered and opens wide like a clam even though they are hardshell.
This bag can hold a lot of gear, but since the pockets don’t stretch or “reshape” the items you put in your bag can’t be oversized.
I could really load this bag up for travel with shoes and rain gear, plenty of extra balls, all the accessories I use on the course, plus some cold beverages.
It is really cool how safe and sound everything feels in the bag with the armor shell protecting all of its contents.
There are also some interior pockets to help divide some of the items you throw in there.
There is also an exterior ball holder so you don’t even need to open a pocket when you have to grab an extra ball.
While it holds 2 golf balls securely, I wouldn’t travel with ball there.
Ride and Roll
This is probably not a bag that you are going to walk 18 holes with it slung over your shoulder by the single strap.
It fits nicely on a riding cart or can by used on a push cart.
Depending on the cart, it may not fit perfectly, but you can get it strapped to any power cart for 18 holes.
The real benefits are going to be the 4 wheel casters when traveling or rolling it from car to course.
The wheels can be locked so it doesn’t roll away.

I got so many compliments about this bag both at the airport and on the golf course.
