I think E-bikes are the future of the bike industry. I know there are still benefits of pedaling around for exercise and competition, but for distance, speed and sheer joy; e-bikes are AWESOME.

Mid-Drive For The Best Pedal Experience
The Heybike ALPHA E-Bike has a 500w mid-drive motor which might seem small compared to their other models which have 1000w hub motors, (like the Heybike Range S E-Bike) however putting the power at the pedals requires less power since it works best when you pedal.
The torque sensor built in also creates the smoothest boost of any e-bike I’ve ever ridden.
While this e-bike isn’t set up to be ridden in a “pure” scooter mode with the twist throttle, it is by far the best pedal experience you can enjoy on an e-bike.
Adventure Ready
Big tires, shocks, aggressive stance, plenty of power, long battery life, and a strong frames means that this e-bike is ready for your adventures.

Right out of my backyard we have rugged desert mountainous terrain that this bike tackles with ease.
I’ve been impressed with how much fun and smooth the ALPHA is for mountain biking.
It does equally as well on the roads around town with the smooth acceleration and pedal experience.
I can get it going 30 mph while pedaling in level 5.
The step-over frame doesn’t work for golfing, but the ALPHA also comes in a pearl white step-through model.
Best Display
Every new model from Heybike gets upgrades to the electronics.
The Heybike ALPHA E-Bike has their best display yet.
The colors are bright and the information plentiful.
I like that you can see battery life, speed, power, lights, and power assist level.
Even in the brightest of AZ sunlight, it was easy to see and read.
It is mounted on an adjustable bracket so you can set it to just the right angle for your viewing preference.
High-End Details
The Heybike ALPHA E-Bike also has a headlight and tailing that shows off the brand as well as having blinkers.
The new rear carry rack has built in straps so you can lock down a bag or box.
The shocks allow you to turn them on and off and adjust the firmness.
The seat is very comfortable for long rides.
The rear fender keep stones from kicking up onto your legs.
It has the feel of a much more expensive bike which is why it is the Best Pedal for the Price.
Battery Performance
The Heybike ALPHA E-Bike battery is hidden under the main frame inside of a cover.
It is the sleekest of all Heybikes.
It does use a new charging cord, but it charges really fast.
Since the mid-drive motor is only 500w and mainly assists your pedaling, it has really long battery life.
It is rated for 60 miles and I think it actually gets the full 60 miles compared to many ratings that barely get 1/2 the miles they claim.
You can charge the battery on or off the bike.
It has a twist throttle that works like an e-scooter, but it only applies once you get the ALPHA up to speed, not starting from standing still.
Summary
Heybike keeps getting better and the ALPHA E-Bike is the Best Pedal for the Price.
It is the most enjoyable way to pedal around town, on the trail, into the mountains or anywhere you decide to go on an adventure.
The mid-drive motor with torque sensor is smooth and powerful.
The $1199 price (with IGR100 coupon) is a great deal. If you are looking to join the e-bike movement, this is the best pedal experience.
