Meridian Kiawah Putter Review
Meridian Did It Again in 2025 With High Quality Putters Meeting Affordable Pricing
I gamed a Meridian Putter for the entire 2024 season with fantastic results. So in 2025 I plan on gaming their newest Kiawah Putter.
It all comes down to a couple reasons: Success on the greens, and the putter head shape and details that match exactly what I’m looking for all at a great price.
This is my official Meridian Kiawah Putter Review.

2024 Results
- The least Putts Per Round Average since I was a +1 Handicap 15 years ago.
- The most 1 Putt and Birdies Per Round Average since I’ve kept complete game stats.
- Speed Control and Confidence on the Greens from any distance!
How do I top that? I purchase one of the New 2025 Meridian Kiawah Putters.

Head Shapes
Meridian Putters now offers 10 head styles for 2025 (3 new ones) to choose from meaning you should be able to find your favorite putter shape. One of nice features about all of their head shapes is their commitment to making them slightly heavier. While 370 grams isn’t heavy, it is certainly more hefty than many on the market. I went with the classic mallet Kiawah design for 2025.

Face Milling
Meridian Putters can come with one of four distinct face millings. Depending on which one you choose it can help create a feel that you are looking for.
- The Meridian Cut draws its inspiration from Latitude and Longitude lines which look similar to the rounded shape of Earth. This cut will be the softest of the three in response and feedback.
- The Fly Cut milling is what I choose for its subtle softness and similar feedback to most putters in the market today.
- The Smooth Cut which has no milling marks, creating a louder sound and the most firm feedback you can get with a putter.
- The Tack Cut is a diagonal cut that removes a similar amount of steel to our fine fly cut. It has a softer feel than the smooth face but still provides the player with good feedback at the strike.

Customize Your Putter
Imagine going onto Scotty Cameron.com and selecting custom options and detail for every aspect of your putter? It would cost thousands (if you even could). A Meridian customized putter is a tiny fraction of that and is just as good with finish options, grip options, milling options, length options, the list goes on and on about how you can make one of their putters your personal favorite. The key is still keeping it affordable. This is what they say about the process: “Say goodbye to expensive stock putters and hello to personalized milled Meridian putters made in the USA. Choose the head style, face milling, finish, and stamping- every decision shapes a putter that’s uniquely yours.” – Meridian Putters

Summary
2024 was one of my best putting seasons using a Meridian Okatie Putter. My indoor testing says that 2025 is going to be even better with my new Meridian Kiawah Putter. I get all the milling, the weight, the finish, etc just the way I like it, but now a little more forgiveness in the slightly bigger mallet head. Plus I didn’t break the bank getting a new putter, but got one as high of quality as any OEM or big name putter maker at a fraction of the price. I’m looking forward to a successful 2025 with my Meridian Kiawah Putter in the bag.
