OUTBOUND Active Sunscreen Review
Ready>Play>Recharged With The Most Important Golf Product
What would you say is the most important golf product? Putter, driver, ball, irons, etc? Sunscreen! While it might not be on the top of your list, but honestly protecting your skin is more vital than you might think. 4 hours in the beating sun is going to take its toll over time. The rise of skin cancer cases makes the news almost monthly. It isn’t only the long term affects, but also during your round are the dangers of sunburn. While any sunscreen is better than nothing, there are obviously ingredients, formulas and products that are better than others.
OUTBOUND Active Sunscreen has a Game Day Trio of products that are some of the best in the business especially for golf. I put these to the test in the AZ sun and 110* summer weather. It isn’t just sun protection they offer, but a clean application, a light feel, no grease, and a trio of products for Ready>Play>Recharged.
This is my definitive OUTBOUND Active Sunscreen Review.

Ready
The most important golf product is applied before you leave your house for your round of golf. OUTBOUND Active Sunscreen Lotion is SPF50 and should be part of your pregame routine. You can certainly wait until you get to the golf course to apply it, but there is a greater chance of forgetting or not applying it as well as you could at home. It also gives it the 15 minute time to “soak” in so that you won’t have any residue on your hands when you tee off on hole 1.
What makes this better than other sunscreens is the K-Beauty Innovation which keeps the formula light, white cast free, breathable and fast absorbing. I didn’t feel “lathered up” after putting it on, but refreshed and ready to play. The scent is clean and fresh too so I didn’t smell like a piña colada walking up to the first tee. Another important feature for golf is waterproof and sweatproof which will allow the sunscreen to protect you from the sun for your entire round of golf.

Play
The OUTBOUND Active Sunscreen Game Day Trio come with a sport stick sunscreen that is perfect for application or reapplication while playing. It is sport stick so you won’t get any on your hands or glove while playing golf. I usually use this exclusively on my face, but it can be used anywhere. You might feel the intensity of the sun during your round and this allows you to shore up your protection, especially in sensitive areas.
I like that both the lotion and the sport stick directly apply and rub into the skin. I was reading an article that suggested that if you don’t rub in spray, it doesn’t function as intended. Both of these products naturally rub into the skin for the full 50spf protection. I also like that this sport stick can survive the AZ heat and not melt in my golf bag. If offers additional on-course protection quickly and easily.

Recharged
The OUTBOUND Active Sunscreen Game Day Trio comes with a recharging/cooling towelette for post round refreshment. If you’ve ever played golf at a high-end AZ course, you’ve been offered a cool, wet towel to finish your round. This is a prepackaged, better version of that as it cleans and refreshes your skin. It not only wipes of the sunscreen, but also any sweat, dirt or grime you picked up over 18 holes like sand, dust, pollen or anything else floating in the air. You can quickly and easily open up the Active Recharge Towel and wipe down your face and neck and anywhere else on your body needing a quick cool down and clean.

Summary
OUTBOUND Active Sunscreen is the most important golf product you can use every round. While any sunscreen is better than nothing for your skin, OUTBOUND offers a Ready>Play>Recharged trio that offers outstanding 50spf protection, K-Beauty Innovation for non-greasy, lightweight, quick absorbing, no white streaks and post-round comfort. The sport stick offers quick application along with the recharging towels for cleaning off when the round is over make this combo a must have for golfer; both men or women. Don’t forget the most important golf product for your round of golf: Sunscreen.
