Senada Herald Plus E-Bike Review
The ABCs of E-Biking: Affordable, Beginner-Friendly, and Conquers Any Challenge
The E-Bike world is loaded with options and many can be confusing. The Senada Herald Plus E-Bike is perfect for learning the ABC’s of e-biking with affordability, beginner-friendly ride, and yet can conquer any challenge. It offers everything a rider is looking for and offers some golf friendly features too. If you are looking into getting a new E-bike with plenty of power, that works well on any terrain and is wallet friendly, the Seneada Herald Plus might be one of the best choices out there. I rode this bike for over 2 months in the desert, on the streets, to and from the golf course.
This is my official Senada Herald Plus E-Bike Review.

Affordable
If you use the coupon code IGR120 the Senada Herald Plus E-Bike is right around $1K. While I recognize that this is more than a regular pedal powered bike, but for a 26″ 1000W E-Bike this is pretty affordable. You are getting a big and powerful bike at a great price. It can certainly compete with bikes double and triple that price. It also had a removable battery, lights, blinkers, front shocks and plenty of carrying capacity to make this a great value in the E-Bike world.

Beginner Friendly
The same reaction happens every time a new E-bike rider hops on one…Woah! There is a shockingly fun sensation that happens when the E-power kicks in. The Senada Herald Plus is very beginner friendly since the LCD display lets you know all the information you need about the power levels, speed and battery levels. It is straight forward… hop on and pedal. If you want to feel more like a motorcycle, twist the throttle. The pedal power and throttle work independently of reach other so that you can go full throttle while only pedaling on speed 1. The Herald is well balanced and easy to hop on and go for a 26″ wheeled bike. The gear shifter works like any other 7 speed bike.

Conquers Any Challenge
The greatest benefit of E-Bike is being able to pedal up a hill with assistance no matter how steep (within reason) or tough it might seem. The Herald Plus is a 1000w hub driven E-Bike with front shocks that can easily navigate mountain, desert, golf course or street terrain. I could pedal and feel the power kick in propelling me straight to the top of any challenge. It easily lasts the entire 18 holes or anywhere I wanted to go around town. If you use the pedals, you get the most out of your battery, but can still get a boost up hills.

Details
4″ x 26″ tires, 80 mile range, LCD display, removable 21 Ah battery, comfortable seat, 330lbs carry capacity, 1200 watt max power and aggressive style are the details that make this a fun, powerful and fast ride. It sits like a “mountain” bike and has a solid feel over bumps. The 78lbs bike is pretty much standard for E-bike and the Senada Herald Plus is well-appointed and ready to go with minimal assembly right out of the box.

Efficiently Fast
I like speed and the Senada Herald Plus E-Bike can move. The 1000w motor can get this bike up to around 30mph with minimal effort. When I use the pedal mode it almost has too much power, not requiring any effort on the pedals. The throttle can be twisted to gradually work your way up to 30 mph. It has smooth acceleration from top to bottom which can be controlled with less or more twist.

Golf Adaptable
I’ve been riding an E-Bike on the golf course from time to time over the last 2 years. I think they are brilliantly fun, fast and enjoyable for 18 holes. They take a small learning curve and a bag holder, but agile golfers can learn how to use one safely while playing golf. The golf bag holder by Divnick is a quick install on the rear rack and then serves as the kickstand during rounds. Considering the on and off of the e-bike for each shot, I highly recommend a step-through frame. The Senada Herald Plus is a step-through frame, but still fairly high. I don’t think this bike would be my choice for every round, but it could serve on rare occasions. I found it worked great for a ride to the range and back.

Summary
The Senada Herald Plus E-Bike covered the ABC’s of e-biking really well: Affordable, Beginner Friendly, and Conquers Any Challenge. I’ve really enjoyed riding this e-bike around with it’s speed, power, big tires and aggressive stance. If you are looking to get into an E-Bike the Herald Plus can be purchased at a great price, especially with the coupon code IGR120. While it might not be the perfect golf e-bike it will certainly work on a limited basis with its step-through frame. If you like to mountain bike, you will enjoy this bike on the trails and off road. It works well on the road too with a big stance, well balanced and plenty of power.
