All sunglasses are going to feel light when you pick them up, but every ounce matters when you wear a pair of sunglasses for your 4-hour round. The lighter the better tends to be one of the biggest factors when it comes to comfort. The Shinzo Tamura Nagai Copper M Sunglasses are the lightest pair of sunglasses I own making them comfortable, almost unnoticeable wearing them all day long. The super-lightweight frameless style along with lightweight lenses make wearing them for long periods of time very comfortable. The nose piece is also adjustable to make them comfortable on your nose. You can barely feel them on your temples and ears because of their weight and design.
Even though they are super-lightweight, they hold on your face nicely without wiggle or worry that they are going to go flying off your face, even during windy conditions or violent swings. They have just right amount of pressure without getting snug or tight. I never worried about them falling off my face, even though you can barely notice they are there.
Outstanding Clarity and Contrast
High quality sunglasses are defined by their lenses. The Shinzo Tamura Nagai Copper M Sunglasses offer outstanding contrast and clarity with the copper lenses. They offer 3 different golf lenses: Carbon, Amethyst, and Copper. I went with the Copper lenses to compare to their darker Carbon lenses I tried before. The Copper lenses are not as dark, making them perfect for morning rounds or twilight rounds. They work great in midday too, just don’t reduce the light as much. The blue mirror is a really nice muted look for style.
I love how the contrast just pops with these lenses so that you can easily spot the contours of the course while reducing glare. Everything is crisp and clear so that you don’t even notice you are wearing sunglasses while playing. There was never a time that I lifted them up so I could see better. Being frameless also means that nothing obstructs your view of the ball at set up or during the swing. The Talex polarized lenses are some of the best I’ve worn for clarity and even though polarized is debated for golf, these were great.
Perfect For Golf and Everything Else
The frames and lenses of the Shinzo Tamura Nagai Copper M Sunglasses were designed for golf. The wrap around sport style offers excellent eye protection from sun and wind. The high contrast and crisp lenses are almost unnoticeable while playing and the super-lightweight combo make them easy to wear for all 18 holes. Actually I often wore them longer than just the round of golf because the drive to and from the course along with other outdoor activities. I also liked how they fit staying in place without any slide even when sweaty. These are perfect for golf as well as every other activity. The light grey frames with muted blue mirror look good too.
