SNYDER Golf Balls Review
DTC Golf Balls to Fit Every Golfers Needs and Budget
The golf question that never goes away: What golf ball can I buy that is like a ProV1 but less expensive? While that golf ball is the gold standard against which all golf balls are judged, there are many other options out there that are just as good if not better. The Direct To Consumer (DTC) model has made it possible to create a ball very similar while reducing the cost.
SNYDER Golf Balls offer a full line of golf balls from the SNY PRO to the SNY Soft Plus to fit every golfers needs and budget. Their single dozen price is slightly less than their competitors, but their multi-dozen price is considerably less. So which of their 6 models of golf balls is right for you?
This is my definitive SNYDER Golf Balls Review.

SNYDER Golf
SNYDER Golf Balls are not just a private label brand from a golf ball factory, but rather a German engineered brand that created their own brand of golf balls with a DTC model. They design their golf balls in house ranging from a 5-piece pro level golf ball to a 2-piece soft golf ball. They have a pricing model that is less than the big name brands comparing dozen to dozen pricing, but that gap gets bigger if you purchase multiple dozen SNYDER Golf Balls. Each models fits a specific customer based on performance and price.

PRO X
The SNYDER PRO X golf balls is my favorite of the line because it is the best fit for my game. The high compression 5-piece golf ball that was the longest off the tee for me and had exceptional control around the green. By name you can guess the direct competitor to this golf ball. I found it just as good as a ProV1x. I played this head to head and found incredibly similar results from tee to green. But at $15 to $22.50 less per dozen.

PRO
The SNYDER PRO is a 5-piece tour level ball that is slightly softer than the PRO X. It has a little more spin around the green for better touch, with lower ball flight too. It is SNYDER’s version of the ProV1. I was really happy how this golf ball held up for 18 holes too. The covers are durable and the paint is well done, these have zero “cheap” feel or performance. It too comes in at that lower price point per dozen making these a great choice. SYNDER has a chart on their website with a head to head comparison and I found it to be very similar to my on course results.

TOUR
The SNYDER TOUR golf ball reminded me a lot of an AVX: Tour level ball with much softer feel. It offers low flight, and a little lower spin which has actually helped me from time to time as I often generate too much spin with all my clubs. The feel off the club is exceptional with this ball. I also found it to be one of the longest in their line up off the tee. While I know the PRO X is the best ball overall for my specs, I kept coming back to the TOUR for its feel and performance. Plus the double numbers are cool.

ACE
The SNYDER ACE is kind of an “in between” everything ball. It is a 3 piece urethane cover golf ball with fairly high compression. It has kind of some opposite qualities of the TOUR. It offer higher flight and higher spin. This is going to be a perfect fit for golfers that maybe don’t swing as fast to make use of the PRO performance. Think Bridgestone RXS golf balls. Higher spin and launch can really help maximize certain swings. Again the price point hits that sweet spot, especially with multiple dozens.

SPEED
The SNYDER SPEED is a 3-piece iomer cover golf ball with a fairly firm feel. It is you distance ball with low spin. It comes in at a lower price point and is going to be great for someone just wanting speed and distance. This ball rolls out a ton in both the fairway and on the greens. It also tended to go really straight. So if you are looking for something that goes straight and long, this is the ball for you.

SOFT PLUS
The SNYDER SOFT PLUS is similar to a Callaway Super Soft. It is a 2 piece low compression ball that is super soft off every club and similar to the SPEED it goes really straight with low spin. If you want to maximize feel while still getting some good roll out, this is going to be a crowd favorite. Senior golfers, women golfers, youth golfers or cold weather golfers are going to like the soft feel paired with straight distance and low spin. Price point is similar on a single dozen, but reduced for multiple.

Summary
The SNYDER Golf Balls offer a little of something for every golfer depending on need, skill, feel and price. I will say that I was impressed by their tour level balls. The PRO X was definitely the best fit (which is what their fitting tool said too) for overall performance. I really liked the TOUR ball too as performance with feel.
No matter what you need, they have a ball for you with a DTC pricing model that allows you to play the ball that fits at the price you want to pay. Another side benefit of playing SNYDER Golf Balls is that when you get into the fairway you don’t have to try and find the blue dots you put on your ProV1 to differentiate it from the other ones, you just walk up and hit your SNYDER. The all white packaging is really cool too. Once you hit these, your wallet will be happy as well as your scorecard.
