Srixon ZXi Hybrid Review
Is Srixon’s Longest, Biggest and Most Adjustable Hybrid Right For You?
Hybrids get the least amount of talk and focus across the internets among golfers.
But there is such a wide variety in the hybrid world that finding the right one for you is far more difficult than golfers realize.
I think it might be the hardest club to dial in what is best because of the wide variety of designs and performances out there between hybrids.
The new Srixon ZXi Hybrid claims to be their longest, biggest, easiest and most adjustable. Those all sound like good things for your game, but is it the right fit?
I played this hybrid on the course for 5 rounds and tested it on the IGR Testing Simulator.
This is my definitive Srixon ZXi Hybrid Review.

One Model To Fit Them All
Drivers come in multiple models, 3-woods have options, irons have a wide variety of choices, but the Srixon ZXi Hybrid has one model.
This one model is designed with the biggest audience in mind and now offers an adjustable hosel to dial in the fitting even more.
They offer 5 lofts from 17* to 28*.
If you bring speed, then you can go with a low lofted hybrid, or if you want a bag full of them, you can get a 6 hybrid and start your irons at a 7-iron.
This single model has plenty of fitting options, lofts and is a neutral biased club so can fit a large population of the golfing world.

i-Flex Face Forgiveness
The i-flex face is Srixon’s technology to create a hot and forgiving face.
The Srixon ZXi Hybrid has great pop from any lie and has consistent speed across the face.
This face is thin and oval without the high toe which is appeal to many golfers.
The i-flex face paired with this bigger head makes this a very forgiving hybrid.
However as the loft lowers it does get more demanding for launch and dispersion.
The #2 hybrid is forgiving for a 17* head, but requires a solid swing to benefit from it.
I liked how it kept the launch down on my hybrid.

Big and Long Yet Sleek
The Srixon ZXi Hybrid has a large and flat look to it but the way the engineers hid that size with the matte black top and glossy sleek bottom makes it look nice behind the ball.
The power of the bigger head shows off at impact when the ball jumps off the face on a low and flat trajectory.
It has some moderate spin which helps keep the lower flight from running through the green or landing zone on approach shots or tight fairways.
The hybrid is never about pure distance, but accurate and repeatable distance.
I was impressed with how consistent this club was.
The big head, long flight, but good stopping power made this a very playable hybrid.

Summary
The Srixon ZXi Hybird is their longest, biggest and most adjustable hybrid.
They made one model to fit as many golfers as possible.
The real question is it right for you?
I think it has real potential if you get the right loft combination for your distance needs because of its forgiveness, length and ease of hitting.
While hybrids don’t get the “buzz” like other clubs do, it is time to talk more about the right fit, the best design and the easiest to hit club that fits your bag.
