Courses across the country are opening up this spring for the 2025 season.

The weather is changing from cold and dreary to the unpredictable spring warmth, wind, rain, sunshine, and everything in between.

If you are going to enjoy your round in this unpredictable weather, you better have some waterproof gear that breathes.

The newest Sun Mountain Tour Series+ LS Pullover is perfect for spring with its waterproof and windproof design along with the 37.5® technology which keeps the body temperature regulated.

The white and grey color option make it incredibly stylish for spring too.

This is my official Sun Mountain Tour Series+ LS Pullover Review.

Sun Mountain Tour Series+ LS Pullover

Water and Wind Proof

Rain and wind come with spring golf. While AZ has much less of that, I did find a windy/drizzly day to test the Sun Mountain Tour Series+ LS Pullover in to see how it repels the elements.

I found this lightweight jacket to be perfect for keeping me dry and warm in the ever changing spring weather.

The temperature swings of the round, the weather shift from hole to hole and the wet and wind were kept out while my upper body stayed warm and protected for all 18 holes.

Even the zippers kept everything out.

37.5® technology

This is now the 3rd time I’ve tried a product with 37.5® technology and it remains a legit temperature regulating fiber woven into this pullover.

It traps heat when the body is cool and then makes sure to release sweat quickly so that you stay at an ideal temperature longer.

I appreciated that I could wear the pullover for all 18 holes without the on and off struggle sometimes during spring rounds of too cold, too hot and then too cold again.

It stayed on for the entire round and I felt perfectly comfortable the entire time.

4-Way Stretch Comfort

In order to play your best during your spring round of golf it is important that the rain gear is non-restrictive.

The Sun Mountain Tour Series+ LS Pullover is as comfortable as they come.

It has the slightest “crispy” feel and sound that waterproof pullovers have, but this one didn’t restrict my motion or get in the way of swinging a golf club in any way.

The flex in every direction has you almost forgetting that you are wearing it while playing.

I liked the zipper pockets, the bungee tightening around the waist, and the Velcro wrist sizing.

I went with a size L and it fit nicely which works great for layering.

Style

The Sun Mountain Tour Series+ LS Pullover comes in 3 colors: Black/Grey, White/Grey and Navy.

While I know that many traditionalists want their plain black rain gear, but for me spring golf should look like it so the White/Grey pullover is perfect.

I love the bright color for a dreary day or even a day that the rain produces a rainbow.

I think the white/grey combo is a home-run having enough grey to not worry about dirt, but enough white to look awesome.

Spring Performance

Spring weather can be unpredictable and if you’ve been waiting months to play, you can’t always wait for the perfect day.

If your spring golf trip takes you someplace that has rain potential, this is a “must have” pullover.

The combination of waterproof and windproof, 37.5® technology temperature regulation, the 4-way stretch and relatively lightweight design makes it perfect to enjoy your entire round while wearing or packing it just in case you need it for a few holes.

I didn’t feel the urge to take it on and off, but could comfortably swing in it while staying cozy without overheating.

All of these factors made it the perfect spring pullover.

Summary

Every golfer needs rain gear. If you’ve been putting off the purchase of a good pullover, I suggest looking into one of the best spring pullovers I’ve used.

The Sun Mountain Tour Series+ LS Pullover is going to keep you dry and warm at just the right temperature with because of the 37.5® technology.

The flexibility and comfort make this a pullover you can leave on for all 18 holes and enjoy your entire round in comfort no matter what the spring weather does around you.
