Sunday Golf El Camino Superlite Stand Bag Review
Bright, Lite and Awesome for Less Than 14 Clubs
There is a movement to encourage amateurs to play less than 14 clubs. Most don’t need 3 wedges, nor do they need a 4 iron, and can probably get away with dropping a fairway wood too.
Just imagine how much lighter your bag would be if you dropped clubs that either you never hit or hit poorly.
If you have joined the less than 14 movement, then why not get a bag that is full of features, is super lightweight and is the perfect options for walking 18 holes with less than 14 clubs.
Sunday Golf made 3 color options of the El Camino Superlite Stand Bag for any golfer looking to use the lightest stand bag while still have all the necessary features.
This is my official Sunday Golf El Camino Superlite Stand Bag Review.

3.2 lbs
The Sunday Golf El Camino Superlite Stand Bag comes in at the featherweight of 3.2 lbs.
While it is a pound more than the Loma Golf Bag, it also holds twice as many clubs.
The weight savings makes this 3/4 of an lbs lighter than the regular El Camino which simply means less weight on your back for 18 holes is going to save energy, reduce stress on the joints and overall help your 4 hour round of golf.
It also requires you to fill your bag with less gear to take full advantage of the weight savings.

4-Way Top
If you are playing less than 14 clubs than you can certainly get by with less than 14 dividers.
The Sunday Golf El Camino Superlite Stand Bag has a 4-way top with full length dividers.
If you are playing 12 clubs this means 3 per slot divided equally.
I dropped some wedges and long irons so driver and putter filled the top slot, then 3-wood and hybrid with a single long iron, followed by most of my irons and the lowest wide slot had short irons and wedge.
The 4-way top works perfectly and was big enough to keep grips from binding on the way in or out.

Bright and Balanced Carry
The key to lightweight carry bags is their balance.
The Sunday Golf El Camino Superlite Stand Bag has self balancing dual shoulder straps the are comfortable to carry.
It works best with a few golf balls, a rangefinder and tees in the lower pockets to balance out the weight of the club heads.
The bright looks makes it loud on the course which is a nice change from many of the plain colors and styles that are popular right now.
You can be proud to play less than 14 clubs and do it with comfort and balance on your back.

Full Featured Pockets
The Sunday Golf El Camino Superlite Stand Bag has a great pocket set-up even though it is so lightweight.
The 5 pockets can hold everything you need for a round of golf: balls, rangefinder, tees, spare gloves, etc.
However keeping the bag lightweight does encourage your to keep the excess “stuff” out of your bag.
It has a towel loop and exterior glove holder. If you need to throw in some rain gear, make sure it is lightweight and easy packing.
They did skip the insulated beverage pocket but use your wallet from the velour lined valuables pocket and support the beverage cart.

Sturdy Stand
The Sunday Golf El Camino Superlite Stand Bag uses a foot pedal style stand mechanism, but it still sits flat when the legs are up.
When set down, the legs deploy nicely and easily while not getting too wide so that the bag stands up tall.
It is stable as it stands there but being lightweight, it might not be the best bag for high winds.
I like the taller, more vertical stance for playing since it is easier to see your clubs and the more vertical they are the easier they are to get in and out of the bag.

Summary
Sunday Golf offers a wide range of bags from the Loma to the Big Rig. The El Camino Superlite Stand Bag is their “Goldilocks” bag in terms of size and function.
They started with the idea that you don’t need a big heavy bag every time your play, go to the range, nor do you need 14 clubs.
The bright, lite and sturdy design makes it perfect for walking 18 holes.
If you are a less than 14 club golfer, than this is the perfect bag for you to enjoy the walk, but still have all the features of a big bag in a smaller and lighter package.
