SuperSpeed Golf Speed Sticks Pro Review
Is 3 Better Than 1? Speed Sticks Pro Gives You All The Options To Get Faster
Golfers are constantly chasing more distance.
Whether it is the promises of the newest driver to gain 5 yards, the longest irons to pick up a whole club length, or everything in between; we all want to be the longest hitter in our 4-some.
While new clubs can help pick up a few yards of distance, the only real way to get longer is to get faster.
SuperSpeed is the pioneer of speed training. Since their splash into the golf world, there have been a number of copycat products out there.
While the SuperSpeed Golf Speed Sticks Pro still have 3 sticks, they also created a single club option for travel with interchangeable weights.
I used the Speed Sticks Pro for over 2 months to watch my speed increase from 104mph to 110 mph and my scores get better.
This is my definitive SuperSpeed Golf Speed Sticks Pro Review.

3 or 1 Stick
The SuperSpeed Golf Speed Sticks Pro Training Aid system was/is revolutionary for increasing speed by varying weights, swinging opposite handed and using the whole body to swing faster.
IT WORKS!! When they first came out with the 3 stick system it was/is simple to use and train with each color coded stick by weight.
Since then other companies have produced a single club/stick to imitate the various weighted club with interchangeable weights.
The Speed Sticks Pro offer both options, 3 different sticks or 1 stick with interchangeable weights.
I still prefer the 3 stick system so I don’t have to mess with weights, but I can appreciated the 1 stick option.

Improved Weights For Faster Speeds
The SuperSpeed Golf Speed Sticks Pro Training Aid comes with 10 weights to dial in your exact needs for speed training.
Basically there are 3 options you can use if you are doing the 3 club system or you can change out the weights in the single club for replicating each different weight.
The other big difference between the pros and the originals is the shape of weights.
The pros are much more aerodynamic and smoother which means they swing easier and if you accidentally touch the ground with them, they are less likely to catch an edge.
The teardrop weights with interchangeable weight caps unlock even more training options.

New Shafts and Grips Are Significant
The new and improved shafts on the Speed Sticks Pro offer better load and release feel while swinging to better replicate your regular driver.
The new larger and softer grips on the SuperSpeed Golf Speed Sticks Pro might not seem significant, but they make a big different.
The new grips are so much gentler on the hands when repeatedly swinging for speed.
The larger size grip also helps improve grip pressure which is so important for maximizing speed.

More Speed = More Distance = Better Scores
Let me explain why the equation above is legit. Going from hitting 260 off the tee to 280+ might not seem like a big deal; (other than bragging rights) that extra 20 yards might be a 2 club or more difference on the approach shot.
If you are hitting a PW compared to an 8-iron you should get closer to the hole which in turn should lead to fewer putts.
Par 5s can be reachable in 2 instead of 3.
Distance, even if offline, still makes it easier to get up and down with a wedge or short iron compared to long irons.
There is zero downside to more distance.

App Based Training Tools
The SuperSpeed Speed Sticks Pro uses an app based training program that gives you Level 1 for free, but requires a subscription for advanced training.
I’m not a huge fan of this concept in terms of paying to track training and to learn the other levels. I have the printed version of Levels 1-6 so I ended up reverting back to those to continue my training once I completed level 1.
I did gain 4% speed in the app tracking which was cool to see.
However there is so much information and training tips in the app, that if you are committed to SuperSpeed, I’d highly recommend getting the subscription to unlock your full potential.

Summary
The SuperSpeed Golf Speed Sticks Pro build on the original SuperSpeed training aid and improve every aspect of the Speed Sticks.
I still prefer 3 sticks over 1, but the optional single stick for travel is a nice complimentary product built into the Pros.
If you already have SuperSpeed Golf Speed Sticks this isn’t a huge upgrade, but if you don’t have any, I highly recommend going Speed Sticks Pro for the better weights, interchangeable weights, better shaft and better grips and the ability to do it all with 3 or 1 stick.
SuperSpeed remains at the forefront of speed training and the Speed Sticks Pro will add speed to your swing which will help lower your scores.
