TaylorMade Qi35 Tour 3-Wood Review

TaylorMade has 4 models of Qi35 3-woods for 2025. The Tour name might scare off some golfers because their higher handicap might assume they are not good enough for this model, but because of the adjustability and performance, I think this club will actually fit a pretty wide range of golfers, and I found it to be the best 3-wood for 2025.

If you slide the weight as far forward it is a low spin bomber and if you slide the weight as far back as possible it is a forgiving, high launching fairway finder.

The multi-material construction gives it tour performance, even if you don’t have a tour swing.

See why my on-course testing paired with testing in the iGR Office by Carl’s Place Simulator proved this is the #1 3-wood in 2025.

This is my definitive TaylorMade Qi35 Tour 3-Wood Review.

TaylorMade Qi35 Tour 3-Wood

Compact Size With Big Performance

The TaylorMade Qi35 Tour 3-Wood is their smallest head, but it has a taller face which gives it the allusion of being bigger.

I was impressed with how much power was transferred into the ball on every shot either on the tee or from the fairway.

I was hitting this past other golfer’s drivers.

I had multiple shots that finished around 275yards with this 3-wood, while going super straight.

There is a confidence that comes with a 3-wood that is compact, but yet hits the ball far and straight.

Adjustability

The TaylorMade Qi35 Tour 3-Wood has an even more adjustable sliding weight compared to the Qi10.

That makes it even more better for lowering spin or raising launch/forgiveness.

I’ve been blown away with how good this is set with the weight forward.

It still launches easy enough, but keeps the spin way down.

You can also adjust the hosel for flight adjustment plus there is a front and center weight that can be changed out.

If you want more launch and forgiveness sliding the weight back makes a noticeable difference.

I think this is where even a higher handicap can fully utilize this 3-wood.

Tour With Forgiveness

The TaylorMade Qi35 Tour 3-Wood is surprisingly forgiving for a “tour” model.

I think the TwistFace has a lot to do with that, plus it has a tall look to it at address.

The face is really hot and forgiving.

It is a great combo for both tee shots and fairway hits.

The adjustable weighting can make it even more forgiving.

It hit the majority of my 3-wood shots with the club long and straight with the weight forward and it just goes straight.

Summary

The TaylorMade Qi35 Tour 3-Wood is my #1 pick for 3-Wood in 2025 because of the adjustability and performance.

Even though it says “tour” I think it offers so many adjustments that a higher handicap can slide the weight, tweak the hosel and get amazing results.

The low handicap golfer can slide that weight forward and watch low-spin bombs carry and roll.

It is one of the longest and straightest 3-woods I’ve ever hit.

I think TaylorMade got the design, the materials and everything just right in this club.

If you are looking to upgrade your 3-wood in 2025, the TaylorMade Qi35 Tour 3-Wood should be your top choice.
