Bigger is Better. Size Matters. Go Big or Go Home.

There a numerous expression out there that can be applied to the current oversized sunglasses trends.

One of the great things about the trends is that it works really well for golf, especially in AZ.

Our sun is intense and the dust also becomes a factor for eye protection.

The new Tifosi Optics Shumo Sunglasses are an oversized version of the popular “shades” style sunglasses.

The frames come in 6 color options and they make one with specific golf tinted lenses.

They are really stylish for ladies wanting both a functional pair of sunglasses, as well as a stylish pair.

What makes these oversized sunglasses even better is that they have an undersized price.

At less than the cost of a dozen golf balls, ladies can get exactly what they need for golf, for sitting by the pool or for wearing with a sundress.

This is my definitive Tifosi Optics Shumo Sunglasses Review.

Oversized Style

While the new Tifosi Optics Shumo Sunglassses are gender neutral, they certainly look better on my wife than on my face.

The shape of the lenses and the color of the frames certainly fit her style better than mine.

She loves the new size and shape to fully protect her eyes, along with being the current style of sunglasses.

The oversized style still fits very comfortably on both the nose and the ears.

The molded in hydrophilic rubber nose grip keeps that in place, even with some sweat.

The gentle curve of the arms keeps them nice an tight on the ears with pressure. The soft mirror finish reduces glare and looks great.

Oversized Golf Tint

You can wear any color and any tint of lenses to play golf, but certain colors are better for reading greens and watching the flight of golf balls.

The contrast colors work best when blocking out certain tones.

The Tifosi Optics Shumo Sunglasses in the honey frames come with brown golf/tennis tint.

This tint is ideal for green surfaces to increase the white contrast for seeing the golf ball.

It also is great for helping show green contours while still reducing the overall brightness.

You get big eye coverage along with golf tint for clarity and elevated whites.

Oversized Comfort

These oversized sunglasses are still super lightweight and comfortable to wear for 18 holes, or all day at the beach.

The Thrive frame with polycarbonate lenses are sturdy and light.

They offer a nice balance of size without weight.

They don’t pinch or slide around while wearing, even in the larger frame.

Even on my wife’s narrow face, these were comfortable, fashionable and easy to wear for long stretches of time.

Even without any adjustments, they fit nicely and comfortably.

Summary

The Tifosi Optics Shumo Sunglasses retail for $39.99 which is less than a dozen ProV1s.

If you or your lady are looking to add a pair of sunglasses to your rotation that offers oversized style and oversized protection at an undersized price; these are one of the best choices out there.

My wife kept gravitating to these glasses for daily use.

She really likes them for both their easy to wear style and their sunlight and dust protection.

If you are looking to try the oversized style, then check these out.

These sunglasses are even golf specific so you get the best of all worlds.
