Tour Edge Exotics C725 3-Wood Review
Does The Exotics C725 3-Wood Live Up To The Success of Previous Tour Edge Fairway Woods?
The Tour Edge Exotics C725 3-Wood found fairways and greens for 6 rounds in my bag this fall. It follows in a long line of impressive fairway woods from Tour Edge. The C725 continues being one of the most adjustable fairway woods on the market along with being one of the best looking ones. It takes a little time and fitting to get it dialed in, but it certainly lives up to previous models and their success. I tested this fairway wood on-course and in the IGR Office by Carl’s Place DIY Simulator.
This is my definitive Tour Edge Exotics C725 3-Wood Review.

Adjustable
The beauty of the Tour Edge “C” Line of woods has been their adjustability. The C725 continues in that tradition with a highly adjustable design for both spin, direction and loft. The 3 components of adjustability are the hosel, the rear moving weight and the changeable front sole weight. You can order a weight kit to take full advantage of everything this head offers. I highly recommend tinkering and fitting to get the most out of this fairway wood. I the stock, straight, neutral setting it is low-spin and anti-left.

C725 Technology
Tour Edge packs a ton of new technology into a compact fairway wood head. The Ryzersole & Carbon Crown are the top and bottom of this club which distribute weight in the head. The titanium face is light and super hot. The forgiveness is granted through a new 3D diamond face with 61 different diamonds and dimensions to maintain speed across the face. There is still some Ridgeback tech around the back of the crown for power. Then add all the adjustability and you have one technically advanced 3-wood.

Beauty
The Tour Edge Exotics C line is for Compact. Not only is the size appealing, the shape and design are really nice to look at behind the ball. While the internets debate if looks have anything to do with performance, I like looking down at this club because it inspires confidence. The thin body, carbon crown, compact shape tells me this club is serious about performance. It is really appealing to the lower handicap golfer.

Dialed-In Performance
The Tour Edge Exotics C725 3-Wood offers adjustability and probably requires it for many golfers to get the most out of this club. It is aimed at the lower handicap golfer who wants lower spin and anti-left fairway wood performance. It also has 3 stock shafts so I highly recommend a fitting to get the right shaft, the correct hosel setting, the moving weight in the right spot and the correct weight in the front. There is no reason to have all those features and not use them. In the stock setting it was a little too anti-left for me so moving the weight toward the heal certainly helped me hit the ball straighter and longer. It took a few swings to dial in the Project X Denali shaft, but it is a smooth feeling mid launch and spin shaft.

Summary
The Tour Edge Exotics C725 3-Wood continues the long line of successful fairway woods from Tour Edge. If you wan the most adjustable and technologically advanced 3-wood you can buy than this is it. I think that also requires some tinkering or fitting to get the most out of it. Off the rack it is pretty low spin and anti-left. It looks great and works well, especially when dialed-in to your needs.
