Tour Edge Exotics C725 Driver

The Tour Edge Exotics C725 Driver carries on the tradition of being one of the most adjustable drivers on the market, but better in 2025.  The improvements come in the forms of looks, sound, forgiveness and spin. Tour Edge continues to make one of the best “bang for the buck” drivers.   Read what we learned over 5 rounds on the course and during practice session in the IGR Office by Carl’s Place DIY Simulator.

This is the definitive Tour Edge Exotics C725 Driver Review for 2025.

Tour Edge Exotics C725 Driver

Adjustable

The beauty of the Tour Edge “C” drivers has been their adjustability.  The C725 continues in that tradition with a highly adjustable design for both spin, direction and loft.  The 5 gram weight in the back of the club can be moved for directional help or can be swapped with the 15 gram weight near the face for even more forgiveness and higher flight.  I found this to be super low spin and flight in the stock configuration with the weight forward and more forgiving with the heavier weight back.  The hosel offers multiple degrees of adjustment too so you can really tinker with this driver to get the best fit for your swing.

C725 Technology

Tour Edge adjusted the driver tech they had been using: the 360* Ridgeback and 3D diamond face create a more forgiving driver along with a slightly adjusted CG weight position.  The combination makes this 450cc driver more forgiving than previous models, yet still very low spin and low launch.  You now have more face forgiveness, and with a lower and further back weight, that means a little more launch forgiveness.  Plus a new Power Channel right behind the face means even a little more forgiveness on low hits.

Clean Looks

The Tour Edge Exotics C line is for Compact.  However the new design is really Clean too.  The large “T” that used to define the crown is replaced with a solid matte carbon fiber crown which looks amazing at address.  While 10cc doesn’t seem like much that smaller head also looks better behind the ball too.  All in all the combination of matte, glossy, and almost all black with just a little white paint markings make this one clean looking club.

Tuned Performance

The Tour Edge Exotics C725 Driver offers adjustability but still within the main performance of a low launch and low spin driver.  For some reason it took me a couple rounds to dial this driver in between the feel of the Project X Denali Shaft, the shape of the head, the low spin and launch.  Once I matched my swing to this driver, I suddenly found success.  It launches it low and hits a screamer that runs down the fairway.  It still launches high enough to maximize carry distance, but certainly one of the lowest launching drivers I’ve hit.  It really allows for the golfers to swing hard and confident once it is tuned to you and you to it. It is aimed at the lower handicap golfer who wants lower spin and lower launch performance.

Summary

The Tour Edge Exotics C725 Driver continues the long line of adjustable, low launch, low spin, affordable drivers from Tour Edge.  If you wan the most adjustable and technologically advanced driver you can buy than this is it.  I think that might require a few adjustments or some range time to get it dialed in perfectly for your swing, but once you do, it is hard to argue with the “bang for the buck” with this new driver.  Tour Edge did it again with a better looking, sounding, forgiving and performing driver.
