Everything We Love About TRUE Shoes Plus Lightweight Cushion
TRUE Linkswear has come a long ways over the last 17 years from their original idea of a minimalist shoe to their full line of golf shoes ranging from OG shoes to their spiked LUX line along with their full array of apparel. I’ve been a fan all along the way with numerous models being some of my favorite shoes.
The TRUE Antigravity Golf Shoes are another step forward in design offering everything we love about TRUE with out of the box comfort, ample space, spikeless traction and now lightweight cushion. The Pebax superfoam makes these one of the softest cushions TRUE has ever made while still be incredibly lightweight and completely waterproof.

Lightweight Cushion
The big story behind the TRUE Antigravity Golf Shoes is the Pebax Superfoam midsoles which comes from the running shoe world. It is incredibly lightweight and very responsive so that on every step you feel a softness under foot, yet firm enough when swinging to not feel squishy. I think the cushion plus feeling like a feather is what makes these such an enjoyable walking shoe. I wore these over 4 days straight of walking 18 holes (which isn’t common for me) and they proved more than up to the task. I didn’t have foot fatigue I expected, but my feet felt ready to go the next day.
Spikeless Traction
The TRUE Antigravity Golf Shoes have a new spikeless tread pattern and sole. They use T’s in alternating patterns with multiple zones on the bottom of the shoes to created traction and flex. The center line and arch don’t have any tread since those are kind of pointless anyway which also helps reduce weight. While at first glance it doesn’t look like enough traction, I didn’t slip once, even on wet grass. They are also really nice off the course because of their smooth tread.
Waterproof Uppers
I rarely need waterproof shoes in AZ. That is one of the many reasons I’ve been such a big fan of the TRUE knit shoes. However that isn’t the case playing golf everywhere as I learn on my recent trip to MN. That cloudy forecast turned into rain during 3 of my last 4 rounds. The TRUE Antigravity Golf Shoes uppers are completely sealed and waterproof.
These have a slight “plastic” feel to the touch built with recycled ripstop uppers reinforced with a waterproof TPU laminate. They are still flexible and comfortable for walking. They have great cushion around the heal and fit very nicely across the upper foot. While they are firmer than Knits, they are still right out of the box walking 18 comfortable.
Walking Performance
I don’t walk as many rounds as I used to since moving to AZ, but it is still my preferred way to play 18 holes. My recent MN golf trip was all walking and the TRUE Antigravity Golf Shoes were up to the task. They offer extreme cushion while being super lightweight. They are waterproof so that was helpful when it rained and my feet were so thankful how comfortable these were both on the bottom, but also on the uppers. They also have great support for swinging aggressively, but also walking up and down side hills, my feet felt secure.
Summary
The TRUE Antigravity Golf Shoes keep selling out for a reason. These are one of their best shoes by combining everything we love about TRUE, but making them lighter weight with more cushion. The walking performance in wet weather makes them even more impressive. I’ve been a TRUE fan since day one and I’ve noticed a slight shift in sizing. They are now closer to all the other brands I wear. I used to be a 9 in TRUE, but now like other brands I’m a 9.5 I also found how much I liked the style that was both unique, but stylish. TRUE designed another winner.
