TRUE Linkswear has set the bar extremely high for golf shoes. Over the last decade they have pushed the boundaries of design and comfort. Their All Day Knit line have been the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn. This is now their 4th version of them and the question is: “Are these the best All Day Knit they’ve made?” The TRUE Linkswear All Day Knit 4 Golf Shoes are their BEST shoe to date. The combination of comfort from Knit 2 and stability from Knit 3 is perfect in terms of style, comfort and function. Since the arrival of these shoes, I’ve worn them on non-golfing day plus I’ve got 4 rounds of golf on them already.

This is my official TRUE Linkswear All Day Knit 4 Golf Shoes Review.

Knit Comfort

When TRUE introduced the first version of Knit shoes 8 years ago I fell in love immediately. I literally wore the soles right off of them. Knit 2 was even more comfortable so I got multiple pairs of them. They too are almost wore out from so much wear. The Knit 3 shoes were more stable, but rubbed on my heel pretty bad. They never really found the rotation like the other Knit shoes. The TRUE Linkswear All Day Knit 4 Golf Shoes are THE BEST. They are super comfortable, have a touch more stability for golf and can be worn all day, every day. The combination of knit materials and design check every box for comfort.

TRUE Traction

The sole on the TRUE Linkswear All Day Knit 4 Golf Shoes is the same as previous Knit models. It has a variety of spikeless traction zones that grip the course nicely. They easily transition from the office, to the car, to the course and then to the 19th hole. They offer a smooth walk, a soft feel under foot and yet plenty of traction for 18 holes. Like all spikeless shoes, if you are in need of serious grip because of weather or competition, then maybe something with spikes might be the preferred choice, but for 95% of my rounds in AZ these are perfect. The flex zones create a close to the ground, grip with your feet feeling.

All Day Support

This was the “complaint” against the TRUE knit line is that they weren’t supportive enough for aggressive swings. So TRUE added a bunch of support in the Knit 3 shoes which unfortunately didn’t work with my feet. The TRUE Linkswear All Day Knit 4 Golf Shoes however found the perfect balance of more support yet extreme comfort. They added some non-knit materials in just the right places to “beef” up the support. These turned out perfectly so that you can swing even more aggressively without rolling or sliding off the soles. They did a great job of keeping the Knit comfort while giving them just a little more support for steps and swings.

TRUE All Day Knit Performance

You can walk 18 holes right out of the box with the TRUE Linkswear All Day Knit 4 Golf Shoes. They offer comfort, support, traction, and style that can be worn all day on or off the course. They breath well in the AZ summer heat. The knit offers a sock like fit which means they feel snug, but not tight. They flex incredibly well so that your feet never feel constricted or squished. You can put them on in the morning and never feel the urge to take them off. They offer a good cushion for walking, standing or swinging so that the bottoms of your feet feel good too.

Summary

The TRUE Linkswear All Day Knit 4 Golf Shoes come in 5 colorways; my favorite is the navy. They are TRUE’s best knit shoe to date. They offer all the great flex and comfort of Knit 2 with a comfortable support from Knit 3. The combination is perfect for extreme comfort for all day wear with a little support in the right places for more aggressive swings and traversing the humps, hills and rugged terrain of a golf course. I love these Knit 4 shoes and will probably purchase some of the other colors so I can wear them even more.
