UNTUCKit Performance Polo 37.5

I tested the technology woven into the UNTUCKit Performance Polo with 37.5 Technology over a few weeks this summer to see if it was able to regulate a comfortable body temperature in the 110* heat of summer.   The 37.5 technology is designed to keep the microclimate next to your skin at the relative humidity of 37.5% which is ideal in the heat. UNTUCKit also designed it to worn more casually.  Does this combination work?

This is the definitive UNTUCKit Performance Polo with 37.5 Technology Review for 2024.

UNTUCKit Performance Polo 37.5

AZ Summer Weather

I’ve been living in AZ now for 8 years and the biggest wonder that people still have is, “How do you survive the 110* weather in the summer?”  I actually love the summer months and the heat.  Golf courses offer amazing deals in tee times, the bermuda grass is lush and green and my swing is loose.  But yes 110* is hot, but having the right apparel can certainly make it more comfortable.  The combination of UNTUCKit and 37.5 Technology make this a very comfortable polo to wear in the summer.

37.5 Technology

37.5* Celsius is the core temperatures of our bodies.  If the relative humidity by your skin matches the core temperature you will be ideally comfortable.  However that rarely happens because you are either hot or cold.  The clothes you wear impact that ideal comfort zone too.  Does it trap too much heat or release too much humidity so that you are uncomfortable?  37.5 technology is a nature combination of coconut shell and volcanic sand to promote ultimate comfort.  In the summer heat this polo helps regulate the humidity and temperature on your skin. The UNTUCKit Performance Polo With 37.5 Technology has that embedded into the fibers so that it won’t wash out over time either.

UNTUCKit Fit and Finish

The UNTUCKit Performance Polo with 37.5 Technology’s most unique feature is the fit.  UNTUCKit has built an entire brand around shirts that you can wear untucked.  While this isn’t my favorite style, the shorter shirt does work well untucked.  It actually looks nice when untucked, and is just long enough to be tucked in.  However it may come untucked depending on how much movement you generate when playing golf.  The cotton/polyester blend has luxurious texture with a subtle striped pattern.  The collar is a textured style and the buttons offer a nice depth in the neck.  I went with the M as my normal size and initially it was the correct fit, however the cotton shrank a little making the shirt just a touch shorter and wider.  I followed the wash gently and dry on low rules to maintain the shape, but I’d probably get a size bigger next time.  The fabric still has a nice stretch so that the short sleeves never require tugging or adjusting.

Performance

Does the UNTUCKit Performance Polo With 37.5 Technology really work?  I’m skeptical of these things, but after testing it I have to admit it is one of the most comfortable polos I’ve worn in the heat. It kept an optimal feeling even in the 110* summer heat. I’m impressed by the 37.5 technology.  The UNTUCKit style mean that no heat is trapped against your waist by the shirt being tucked into your shorts.

Summary

The UNTUCKit Performance Polo with 37.5 Technology keeps your body in the comfort zone when it is hot.  Sure it won’t make you feel like it is 72* but it is probably the coolest shirt I’ve worn when it is 110*  I’m impressed by the temperature regulation which led to comfort for all 18 holes. I’m not certain the UNTUCKit style is for me, but if you like that more casual look they make a nice polo with heat regulating technology.
