How Did Waggle Become My Favorite Golf Apparel? A Step By Step Guide.

I found my new favorite golf apparel brand: Waggle. While I know they aren’t new, they have built an apparel brand that has carved out a niche in the industry that I think offers my favorite choices. Their Fall ’24 line showcases the options that make them my favorite. The combination of their offerings, their style, their comfort and their variety means they offer something that everyone will love. See how they became my favorite.

This is my definitive Waggle Golf Apparel Review.

Step 1: Subtle Creative Patterns

Waggle has the best design team when it comes to creating creative and subtle patterns at the same time. So many brands either go bold or subtle, but being able to essentially do both at the same time is brilliant. Their creative patterns also appeal to our interests off the golf course. Thinks like grilling, hunting, outdoors, fishing, wildlife, etc. There is a design for everyone. Some of their new Fall ’24 line even offers a coorporate line which is more subtle and sometimes just a simple “logo” on a plain shirt. This means you can wear it golfing, to the office or just anywhere casual apparel is acceptable.

Step 2: Men’s and Women’s Line

In order to really work with all golfers, you have to have apparel that works for both men and women equally well. Their patterns, styles and creativity translate well in both the men’s and women’s line. They fit differently and often have different patterns available to both men and women, but retain an obvious connection between the lines. The men’s line offers numerous masculine patterns while the ladies’ line is both feminine and attractive. While I’m not suggesting matching clothes, you can both wear Waggle and look good head to toe.

Step 3: Great Fit

I think the most challenging issue for any apparel brand is fit. How do they make sizing and shapes that fit the wide variety of bodies that golf. I know these might not be a great fit for everyone, but the 4 iGolfReviews writers that tried their apparel all liked how it fit. We all found going 1/2 size bigger is often the best option in tops while sticking with normal sizing in bottoms worked ideal. They have a nice clean cut, with fitting nicely in the tops and bottoms; not too tight, not too loose. The men’s line fits an athletic body well and the women’s line is just at touch slimmer. The cuts are flattering for both men and women in both tops and bottoms.

Step 4: Amazing Comfort

As you can see in the pictures our reviewers span the US in terms of weather. With the extreme heat of the AZ desert and the cool air of MN the entire Waggle line is comfortable for each climate. They offer layers that can also adapt to changing weather. I love the “dry fit” material in the heat. It is thick enough to feel like it has some good coverage, while thin enough to not feel heavy. Their hoodies are a nice midweight and they have thicker sweatshirts for those chilly rounds. You can swing easily in anything they make. They are also offering quilted cold weather layers as well as the fall cold air starts rolling in.

Step 5: On Course Performance

You are going to really like wearing Waggle while you golf. It offers excellent style, but performance is great for both the hot and the cold weather. I think we all enjoyed playing golf in our Waggle gear. The men’s shorts are really loose and lightweight. The joggers had good stretch to them and their polos all are smooth and nonrestrictive while swinging. I really was impress by their hoodies and pullovers which are slim enough so that they don’t get in they way while swinging but aren’t tight either. The women’s line has a slim flattering look that hugs the ladies curves.

Step 6: Hats, Hats, Hats

Waggle makes the best hats on the market. Their “logos” are as creative as they get and appeal to everyone. My Roadrunner and Coyote hat is perfect for AZ as well as giving some nostalgic vibes. The Shooter has is perfect for movie fans. Their animal logos are loved by outdoors men and pet owners. Not only are the logos great, the lightweight, vented snapback hats are some of the most comfortable hats you can wear.

Step 7: Something for Everyone

Waggle really upped their game in Fall ’24 by offering most subtle and simple designs. If you don’t want a pattern, if you want more plain, they have your covered. If you want bright, if you want dull, if you want bold, if you want simple, they have it all. They offer polos, shorts, pants, skirts, hoodies, pullovers, vests, jackets, and hats. You can be covered in Waggle from head to toe no matter what kind of style you like, they’ve got it.

Waggle became my favorite golf apparel brand by sticking to their core line of creativity and outdoor styles while adding more “coorporate” pieces and offering simpler designs.
