Wilson DYNAPWR Max+ Review
10K+ For Hitting More Fairways
The key to lower scores is hitting more fairways.
While I know that distance is king, the reality is that if you truly want to shoot your best round, you’re probably going to need your ball in the short grass the majority of the time.
I know that the days of “bomb and gauge” aren’t over, but most amateurs don’t have a good enough short game to employ that method, nor do our “wild” drives even stay on the course.
The reason that high MOI drivers are popular is because they help golfer hit more fairways with high stability and maximum forgiveness.
The Wilson DYNAPWR Max+ Driver is the most forgiving driver they’ve ever built, while maintaining consistent speed across the face, forgiving bulge and roll, and the best stock shaft for 2026.
This driver simply hits fairways easily with good distance.
I gamed this driver for 5 rounds and hit it at the range as well as testing it on the iGR Office by Carl’s Place DIY Simulators.
This is my definitive Wilson DYNAPWR Max+ Driver Review.

Max+ MOI
10K MOI is considered “maxed out”.
The Wilson DYNAPWR Max+ Driver is right at the USGA limit for MOI by creating the most forgiving driver they’ve ever made.
It is simply easy to hit straight and find fairways hit after hit.
They do this with a large weight in the back that stretches the CG low and back.
The weight just powers through the ball from impact to release.
I also like how Wilson made this driver uber-forgiving without making the footprint too wide and flat. It still maintains, at least to the eye, a regular shape.

PKR-360 Face
The key to more forgiving drivers is the combination of MOI and face forgiveness.
The Wilson DYNAPWR Max+ Driver has what they call PKR-360 face which is their version of a variable thickness face that creates the largest sweet spot and maintains high speeds even on off center hits.
The other cool feature of this face is the bulge and roll design with also helps off center shots go straighter and find more fairways.
This isn’t a totally new idea, but Wilson noted that little more bulge and roll, means that off-center hits will not over-correct, but will actually fly straighter.

What Makes This Driver A Fairway Finder?
It is all about the combination of factors.
It isn’t just the fastest, the most forgiving, the lowest spin, etc.
It is when all of those factors work together with your swing to create a fairway finding driver.
The Wilson DYNAPWR Max+ Driver is that combo that has an all-around playability by combining the 10K+ MOI, bulge and roll, PKR-360 face, rear weight, awesome stock shaft, and a good look which allowed me to hit fairway after fairway with this driver.
It has a touch higher spin, but that didn’t hurt my results as so many drives found the fairway.
I maybe gave up a few yards of distance, but avoiding the rough or OB certainly was kind to my scorecard.

Best Stock Shaft 2026
Virtually every driver is customizable, but that doesn’t mean the majority of golfer take advantage of this feature.
Most drivers are still sold in a stock configuration off the shelf. The Wilson DYNAPWR Max+ Driver comes with the best stock shaft for 2026, the UST LIN-Q Power-Core Blue.
It is one of the most stable and best feeling shaft this year and offers an ideal mix of feel, spin, control and consistency.
The simplest answer is that if you are looking to hit more fairways, the LIN-Q is the best option paired with this head.
So you can get a high MOI driver, super forgiving face and the best stock shaft right off the rack with this driver.
