I believe after all these years of testing and trying every GPS, laser, hybrid, phone app, etc that a laser rangefinder is still the best distance device that you can have on your golf bag.

It remains the most accurate and the easiest to use for the majority of golfers.

Simply put in a battery, clip it too your bag, and use it the entire golf season without replacing a battery or recharging it.

You will also get the most accurate distance to whatever you can see.

The WOSPORTS L06 Golf Laser Rangefinder is their newest model that has almost identical specs to $500 lasers from well known brands yet sells for $100 right off their website (with their current 20% off promotion)

The real question that everyone is asking is: “what is the catch?” Is it really the same as the $500 laser?

That is exactly what this review is going to tackle.

I’ve give a little teaser: there is a reason WOSPORTS has won our best budget rangefinder year after year.

This is my official WOSPORTS L06 Golf Laser Rangefinder Review.

WOSPORTS L06 Golf Laser Rangefinder

$500 Specs

7X Zoom, Magnetic Hold, Slope, Waterproof, OLED Display, Flag lock and vibration, etc are all features typically found on $500 laser rangefinders.

The WOSPORTS L06 Golf Laser Rangefinder offers all of the same specs on papers a the most expensive laser rangefinders.

As you can see in the picture is comes in a white and black logoless shell that is slightly smaller and lighter weight than $500 lasers.

It has the typical slope slider on the side of the laser to turn slope on and off. It has a power button and mode button on the top.

It runs off an L4 battery. It is pretty much the same as other lasers.

OLED Red Display

The WOSPORTS L06 Golf Laser Rangefinder has a bright and clear OLED Red display.

Looking through the eye piece and locating the flag is easy with the 7x zoom.

Once the button is pressed, the whole screen lights up with the bright red numbers showing distance to the flag.

The picture above shows the details included for each shot, like mode, slope, and distance compensation.

It is easy to read and plenty bright in all light levels.

On-Course Function

How does a $100 laser compare to a $500 laser?

I shot distances side by side comparing the WOSPORTS L06 Golf Laser Rangefinder vs. a Bushnell Laser Rangefinder and there was never more than a 2 yard difference.

I noticed that as I shot the WOSPORTS laser it would bounce around a yard or so as I was shooting the pin.

It never changed much and easily acquired and locked on the flag.

The design is compact and waterproof and seemingly pretty durable, but it does lack the solid feel of the more expensive laser.

$100 Price

The WOSPORTS L06 Golf Laser Rangefinder retails for $129 ($103.20 after coupon).

This is the best deal in budget laser rangefinders you can buy.

There isn’t a better laser for this low of price from any other brand.

They will take the crown of best budget laser in 2026.

You get 7x zoom, magnet, OLED Red display, slope, waterproof, etc, you simply can’t beat it for the price.

It may not have the big name brand attached to it, but all you need is distance anyway, who cares what the case says on it.

Summary

If you want to save some money, and still get a brand new laser rangefinder with all the specs of a very expensive one, then the WOSPORTS L06 Golf Laser Rangefinder is the exact one you are looking for.

It is more than accurate enough for more golfers being within a yard on any given distance.

It will last the entire season on one battery which makes it easy to put on the bag and never worry about distance.

The OLED red display is very bright and easy to read.

All-in-all it is a hard bargain to beat, which is why it won the Independent Golf Reviews Best budget rangefinder of 2026.
