Puerto Rico Golf
10 years ago I used to live in Puerto Rico. It holds a special place in my heart since it was my 1st home and my first son was born there. I used to golf regularly at courses like Palmas del Mar, Bahia Beach Club and Coamo Springs. That was 10 years ago, things have changed a great deal since then. There are now some 22 courses on the island, they host one of the most popular PGA events: the Puerto Rico Open and there are more resorts with excellent stay and play packages than before.
But not only has the golfing scene changed, the other activities on the island are now more plentiful. There is more shopping, you can now go zip-lining, and like always the beaches and rainforest are amazing. What really makes Puerto Rico stand out over other destination is how cheap the airfare is to get there, how accessible the island is since you don't need a passport, and how many world class golf courses are so close together.
I hope that it works out in the next year or two that I can travel to Puerto Rico to offer course reviews. There are so many new ones since I lived there. So if you are looking for a perfect get-away for the whole family, both golf and other activities check out the beautiful island of Puerto Rico.
