How much “stuff” do you need to play golf besides clubs?  I carried the MXWL Golf Organizer Bag in my trunk for 3 rounds of golf and 3 trips to the range. It organized my spare gear, apparel, accessories and shoes.  If you want to combine functions of a backpack, shoe bag and trunk organizer, this is the perfect golf accessory.

This is the definitive MXWL Golf Organizer Bag Review for 2024.

MXWL

At first glance I thought this was a Roman numeral, but then remembering there is no number W.  The MXWL is the logo for Maxwell Golf.  The abbreviation without  vowels is actually quite clever.  It looks nice and stands out.  Even though the brand is missing some letters, their Golf Organizer Bag can pretty much carry everything you need to golf except the clubs.  I found this trunk organizer big, sturdy, durable and extremely functional.  While you can certainly golf without it, if you don’t have extra time to pack your gear and double check your bag for balls, tees, towels, socks, shoes, etc. the MXWL Golf Organizer Bag will be a game saver.

Organizer Bag

The MXWL Golf Organizer Bag is a large cube-like bag that has slots, dividers, pockets, zippers and lots of space to fill with every possible accessory you need to golf.  I found it way more useful than I expected.  In a busy world, we often don’t have time to double check if we have enough golf balls, tees, laser, etc.  The MXWL Golf Organizer Bag holds 2 dozen golf balls, towels, rangefinder, birdie juice, towels, socks, ball markers, divot tools, hats, sunglasses, makers, sunscreen, polos, hoodie, rain gear, etc.  It can carry what you want and need for your climate. I packed mine up once and for 6 times to the course it has served me really well.  I had everything I needed and place to put it when I was done.

Shoe Bag

The bottom half of the MXWL Golf Organizer Bag holds 2 pairs of shoes.  This is another great feature since sometimes we want spikes, sometimes spikeless and other times we just want to through on some slides.  This way those dirty stinky shoes are bouncing around in the trunk.  The pocket is ventilated so shoes dry out and don’t get moldy or gross between rounds. I like keeping slides in there for post round relaxation.  No matter what shoes you keep in there, you will be ready to golf the next time you open up the MXWL even if you forgot to grab golf shoes when you were leaving the house.

Function

The MXWL Golf Organizer Bag is big, has a shoulder strap and should fit in any trunk or hatch.  The heavy duty polyester material can withstand the beatings this will take.  I found the dividers sturdy too.  I often had my golf bag leaning across the top in the trunk.  It can carry up to 55lbs so you don’t have to worry about over-packing it.  On a side note, if you take all your golf gear out, it can serve as a trunk organizer for trips with emergency gear, food, etc.   I’d guess you’ll need to restock/refill it every so often depending on how clean things are and how many accessories you use up like tees and balls.

If there was one upgrade to the design I’d make; I add little rubber grippers to the base so that it doesn’t slide in the trunk.  It doesn’t fly all over or tip in the truck bed, but it did slide forward making it a little harder to reach when I arrived at the course.

Summary

The MXWL Golf Organizer Bag is one of those accessories you don’t know you need until you use it.  I found it way more functional and practical than I expected.  I liked have back up gear and accessories in the car if I needed them without packing everything in the golf bag.  It is a great golf road trip companion to keep spare stuff in your trunk.  Even if the MXWL Golf Organizer Bag doesn’t have vowels, it will carry everything else you need for golf.
