I stayed kozy in my heated vest during multiple rounds of golf this fall as well as off the course in my GoKozy Heated Vest. This black puffy vest comes with front and back heating elements inside allowing for additional battery powered heat during cold rounds of golf, or anytime the temperatures drop. If you hate the cold like I do, this might be exactly what you are looking for.

Necessity?

If I told you that I had a battery powered heated vest; you’d probably scoff or snicker about either how wimpy I am to use it or how wealthy I was to afford it. I’m here to tell you neither one of those should apply anymore. While living in AZ means I could play golf 365 days a year, there are still very cold days in the winter months. There is nothing more restricting to your swing than the cold. Either your muscles are tight making it hard to swing, or the layers required to stay warm get in the way. Gokozy Heated Vest combats both of those issues at a price point you wouldn’t believe. They took what was once considered a luxury item and turned it into a necessity. This vest is a stable in my bag for winter rounds.

Gokozy Technology

The Gokozy Heated Vest relies on a 1000mAh battery, 2 main heat zones, 3 temperature settings and a Mylar thermal liner. These technologies allow the user to get the most comfortable heat for their body when it is cold out. The front and back carbon heating elements allow you to select which part of your body you want warmed up. Sometimes just the back feels cold or just the front if you are riding in a cart, or both. Having control is vital to getting it just right and not too hot. The 3 temp settings allow the user to dial it in even more. One of the impressive features is the Mylar thermal liner which traps body heat even without the heating coils. Basically you can go from warm to hot depending on your preferences. The battery will easily last your entire round and you can even charge your phone off of it if need be.

Fit and Swing

The Gokozy Heated Vest looks like any other “puffy” vest. The all black look with a Gokozy logo and chest heating buttons looks very sharp. While it is has nice cut and fits fairly tight to the body, I wouldn’t wear it under a coat for golfing, it simply gets to bulky. It is perfect over a hoodie or 1/4 zip. The battery pack is fairly heavy in the pocket, but surprisingly doesn’t bother the swing one bit. Being a vest it also don’t impede the swing in any way, but keeps the core warm and loose. I didn’t notice a single MPH lost in the swing while wearing the vest. (the cold however does impact ball speed) I usually wear a size M, but went L in this vest. It was right on the edge so if you are between sizes I’d say it is OK to go up a size for a good fit, especially since you’ll be wearing it over other layers.

(even at full price it is worth it) I absolutely love my Gokozy Heated Vest and wear it anytime the winter temperatures drop. I stay warm and kozy while playing golf.
