Zero-Torque putters aren’t going anywhere.

They aren’t just a fad for 2025, but they are the future of putting. However that doesn’t mean everyone is jumping on board right away since many of the zero-torque putters have a unique look, style, feel, and learning curve.

Those early versions of zero-torque might even seem “weird”.

But as the acceptance of these putters grows so does the innovation to achieve zero-torque while making it look and feel “normal”.

The Odyssey Square 2 Square TRI-HOT Rossie Putter is taking zero-torque putting to the next level as it offers all the benefits of the technology in a more “normal” putter.

You can now get a zero-torque putter without shaft lean and with the shaft positioned close to the face.

This allows golfers to putt with something more familiar, but yet filled with the newest technology.

If you want to do zero-torque putting, this is Odyssey’s best version of it so far.

This is my definitive Odyssey Square 2 Square TRI-HOT Rossie Putter Review.

Zero-Torque But Better

I have found great success on the greens with zero-torque putters.

While the technology is virtually the same to keep the putter from twisting during the putting stroke, the application of this technology is very different.

Some putters have odd shapes, unique hosels, and different set-ups, the new Odyssey Square 2 Square TRI-HOT Rossie Putter is as normal as it gets.

It looks like a regular center shafted Rossie putter.

The shaft is close to the face and it doesn’t have lean.

It still is zero-torque, only better.

TRI-HOT Face

The Odyssey Square 2 Square TRI-HOT Rossie Putter has one of Odyssey’s most popular face technologies withe Ai dual urethane insert paired with Forward Roll Design grooves which are more aggressive and softer for the best smooth forward roll you can get in a putter.

What I most appreciated about the TRI-HOT face is how consistent the roll has been.

I’ve not always been an insert guys because I’ve found them to be less consistent, but not this one.

The repeated roll with this putter has been the same putt after putt.

Forward Center Shafted

One of the big breakthroughs with the Odyssey Square 2 Square TRI-HOT Rossie Putter is the fact that it looks more normal.

The center shaft is closer to the face without any lean.

This makes it much easier to set-up and align.

This greatly reduces the learn curve with this putter since it looks like any other center shafted putter.

The weight is also forward which makes the tempo really easy to manage since the mass is at the ball and you return it through the ball during the stroke in perfect balance.

If you want to go from a regular putter to a zero-torque this is going to be easiest putter to transition to.

Performance On The Greens

The Odyssey Square 2 Square TRI-HOT Rossie Putter took no time to get used to which meant that I was putting excellent with it on the first round and it only got better over the next 4 rounds.

The ability to consistently roll the ball the same on every green leads to great putting.

It doesn’t mean that every green is a 1 putt, but it means that I consistently hit my line and speed exactly as intended.

I felt that I gave the ball a chance to go in the hole with almost every stroke I took with this putter.

It is the model of consistency.

The combination of all the factors of the face tech, forward shaft, forward weight, zero-torque balance and the new pistol grip and heavier shaft made it roll the same every time.

I had almost no 3-putts along with numerous 1 putts or tap-in 2 putts.

The color pattern with the back face, and red body also looks really nice on the green behind the ball inspiring confidence of sight.

Summary

The Odyssey Square 2 Square TRI-HOT Rossie Putter takes zero-torque putting to the next level of balance and performance.

It is more “normal” which makes it easier to adjust and quicker to realize the benefits of zero-torque putting.

If you have been on the fence about zero-toque putters come on over to the dark side and enjoy the benefits of this technology in the best version of it by Odyssey.
