I carried my clubs in a tour style stand bag for 6 rounds. The new RevCore Stand Bag by CaddyDaddy is one high quality, feature packed, and good looking bag while being budget friendly.    It keeps it classy with very clean lines, embossed logo and useful pockets. It has two carry strap options along with a cart sleeve making this one of the classiest and most functional carry bags on the market. This stand bag looks good enough for a tour player and reasonably priced for a weekend warrior.

This is the definitive RevCore Stand Bag Review for 2024.

RevCore by CaddyDaddy

The people that brought you the Claw Golf Gloves and First Class Travel Gear, now bring you RevCore. This small company is doing great things by creating products that perform uniquely well at a golfer friendly price point. The RevCore Stand Bag could easily pass for a much more expensive bag from a big manufacturer. I know they have done well over the years as the CaddyDaddy brand, but moving to a more classy name like RevCore for this stylish stand bag is also a good move.  If you like the look of a tour bag without paying the big name brand price, check out the RevCore Stand Bag.

14-Way Top

I am a fan of the 14-way top divider system.  I know this online debate rages on, but the RevCore Stand Bag top functions very well with a slot for every club.  I found this 14 way top a little more challenging to figure out the perfect layout.  I’m not sure if there is a specific putter slot or if you can put it anywhere you want.  I kind of adjusted my layout depending on if I was carrying, walking with a push cart or riding on a power cart.  The slots are plenty big and the clubs go in and out easily.  I found the arch shape to the outer slots and kind of bigger center line slots offered a couple different options to arrange woods, irons and wedges.  I often went horizontal with my arrangement, but tried an iron wrap with woods down the center.  The grab handle at the top is always useful as the first quick move place to hold the bag.

6 Pockets

The RevCore Stand Bag carries all your gear and accessories in 6 pockets plus a couple extra slots for holding water bottles and marker. Every pocket has a heavy duty zipper.  I like the all black look of this bag and zipper combo.  The 2 spine pockets make up the most used pockets on the bag.  The top one is the one I keep my most used accessories and a few extra balls if needed. It is very easy to access with its magnetic closure. The right side of the bag has  2 pockets and an insulated water bottle slot.  A full length one, amd a valuables one.  I think it is brilliant to have 2 cooler slots for golf in AZ.  The other pockets can hold plenty of the other gear you need.  The heavy duty zippers on every pocket are really strong and easy to pull either direction.  It really is the ideal pocket set up for a carry bag.

Tour Material

The RevCore Stand Bag comes in 2 colors, black or navy.  Both bags offer high quality style in a classy color.  They could easily pass for much more expensive bags. They are constructed of synthetic leather that has a smooth finish.  The black has kind of matte finish to it.  The RevCore logo is embossed into the side and strap pass through making it stylish and classy. The base is a nice molded plastic bottom and sits flat and sturdy when not using the stand mechanism.  The stand mechanism used a base foot to deploy the legs, but it is really sturdy.  This makes it easy to transport from trunk to carry or to cart.

Function Features

The RevCore Stand Bag offers functional features not found on other bags.  The dual strap or single strap option is an outstanding combination I’ve not seen from other bags.  The dual strap is great if I’m going to carry it on my back, but professional caddies love a single strap.  If I’m going to cart the bag, the single strap is always the way to go.  The straps are thick, comfortable and balance the bag nicely on my back.  The waterbottle slots are nice to have 2 bottles for the round.  The pen holder, umbrella holder and grab handles all work great for usage.  The neoprene cart strap protector is another way of keeping this bag looking like brand new, even when you use it on a power cart.  The rain hood is also big and very functional.  It protects your clubs if it is raining or makes for a nice travel protector.  There is a big towel loop and velcro to hold your glove.  All in all it is what you expect from a high quality bag.

Summary

The company known for their Claw Glove and First Class travel gear stepped up their game with the RevCore Stand Bag. CaddyDaddy created one of the nicer looking and functioning stand bags that has staff bag like features.  The synthetic leather is very durable, the 6 pockets hold everything you need for 18 holes and the 14-way top serves to keep all the clubs in some order.  I’m impressed by the high quality, excellent function and budget friendly price of the RevCore Stand Bag.
