Blue Tees Rangefinder Review: Series 3 Max
A Premium Laser Without the Price
I have used the Blue Tees Series 3 Max Rangefinder for 6 rounds of golf.
While Blue Tees Golf might not have the clout of a big OEM: they produced one of the better rangefinders on the market.
I found it full of features and incredibly accurate along with a more reasonable price point.
This is my definitive Blue Tees Rangefinder Review for the Series 3 Max.

The golf rangefinder industry is dominated by one brand.
There are also a couple other “big” OEM brands that have a small percentage of the market share.
What is left belongs to a handful of small low priced rangefinders.
Direct to consumer and Amazon brands have flooded the market with cheap laser rangefinders.
Most get the job “done”, but quality, consistency and features are lacking. Basically it looks like they are all made in the same factory and just get different logos.
Blue Tees was founded for this very reason; high priced big brands vs. budget rangefinders.
Their mission is to be the middle ground: great features and design at a lower price point.
The Blue Tees Series 3 Max Rangefinder does just that and then some.

The Blue Tees Series 3 Max Rangefinder is both a direct to consumer and sold a hundreds of golf stores and green grass accounts.
Either way, they offer a nice 60 day money back guarantee if you don’t like it.
I have a hard time believing you are not going to like this rangefinder.
It has everything you want in a laser rangefinder.
While they introduced this model in only 1 color combo: blue and white, they have an all black model and a pink and white model coming soon.
It has at least 9 key features that make this rangefinder a real winner.

The Blue Tees Series 3 Max Rangefinder’s best feature is the optical display.
The 7x magnification is excellent for zooming in on the target, but the easy to read display is the real winner in my book.
The Blue Tees Series 3 Max display is very clear and offers an auto ambient display which automatically adjusts to the amount of light.
This is an impressive feature, especially if you play twilight or dew sweeper.
It is very clear and easy to find flags, bunkers, trees, 150 yard markers or whatever you are trying to get yardage to.

The Blue Tees Series 3 Max Rangefinder gives you quick and accurate distances just like you would expect.
While the engines that run laser rangefinders are not all the same, this one processes quickly and accurately.
It has a slope switch which can be engaged for casual rounds and disengaged for tournament play.
It found the slope adjustments to be spot on playing a few mountainous holes here in Tucson, AZ.
The Flaglock and pulse features assure the golfer that you hit the correct object.
This takes some of the guessing and reshooting distances out of play since you know you hit the flag.
The Blue Tees Series 3 Max Rangefinder has 3 other perk features that help this rangefinder stand out in a crowded market.
The 1st is the magnetic strip which holds the laser to the cart or anything metal.
Much of my golf in AZ is in a riding cart, and I have found these features to be very high on my checklist of rangefinder features I want.
The waterproof features are really nice too. While AZ doesn’t get much rain, the rain usually comes as a surprise while golfing.
The third feature that is really nice are the 2 extra batteries in the box.
While all rangefinders come with the starting battery which will usually last a season, having 2 back-up batteries on the ready is a huge plus.
It seems like it never fails that the battery dies when you least expect it.
Blue Tees has you ready for that day.
Summary
The Blue Tees Series 3 Max Laser Rangefinder is the real deal.
This direct to consumer brand is pretty popular on social media for a reason; they make a great product at a good price point.
The real deal is in the features which are as good as anything else out there.
The clear optics, slope setting, magnetic strip, and accuracy make this worth the look. I’m impressed by the Blue Tees Series 3 Max Laser Rangefinder.
