The Feel of a Blade with the Stability of a Mallet

I rolled the Evnroll EV5.1 Putter for 8 rounds of golf this summer and have been blown away by its consistency.Β I also practiced with it on my backyard putting green.Β If you want to put the best roll on a ball and have the ability to dial in your putter to your specific needs with weight, shape and hosel, this is the best there is.
This is my official Evnroll EV5.1 Putter Review.
Putting is unique to every golfer.Β While there are some tried and true techniques, it is a basic equation: Roll the ball into the hole! Evnroll has built their putters around the Sweetface groove technology that puts the best roll on the ball.Β The EV series offers the widest variety of putter shapes, designs, weights and hosels paired with that face.Β The Evnroll EV5.1 Black Short Plumbers Putter offers the feel of a blade with the stability of a mallet.

All Evnroll Putters are built around SweetFace Technology.Β The Evnroll EV5.1 Putter has the precision milled face pattern that creates consistent roll no matter where you hit the grooves.Β If center, it is a perfect roll, if off center, it compensates to still create the same roll as a center hit.Β It is legit technology that you can see working hole after hole as you watch your putts do the same thing roll after roll.Β Even your playing partners will comment on the consistency of your putts.Β Your score card will also benefit from better putting.
V-Series Hosels
The Evnroll EV5.1 Putter has 6 different hosel options.Β I’m guessing that not every golfer understands hosels besides how they look.Β The hosel is the connecting point between the shaft and the putter head.Β There are 4 slant neck options and 2 plumbers necks options.Β The look can be important for your set-up, but it is even more than that, hosels work with your stroke type.Β Certain necks benefit straight back/straight through, slight arch or strong arch strokes.Β If you have an strong arched stroked, the shorter hosels are going to create more toe hang which will help keep the face open.Β This is mine so that is why I went short plumbers neck.Β The benefit of this system is I don’t have to limit my putter search to only certain styles, but EVNRoll offers al the designs with all the hosels.
Adjustable Weights
The Evnroll EV5.1 Putter has “Adjustable six-point weighting – The addition of six weight ports provide precision weighting for targeted swing weighting as well as dynamic toe flow options and perimeter weighting MOI benefits.” That basically means it comes weighted ideally for most golfers, but if you have specific needs or feel you are looking for you can order different weight kits to adjust the 6 weights on the sole of the putter.Β They are different sizes so they aren’t interchangeable, but adjustable with different weights sold separately.Β I absolutely loved the weight and feel of this putter since the aluminum body is light, even with the adjustable weights, and the stainless steel face kept the majority of weight so that it felt like a blade, but has the stability of a mallet.
Head Shape Options
The Evnroll EV5.1 Putter is one 3 variations of the “fanged” mallet and there 4 other models in the V-series putters.Β You can go traditional blade to modern mallet.Β It comes down to many factors of which putter you should choose.Β While I’m a big fan of blades, I find certain mallets really work well for me too.Β I need one that works with a strong arch and keeps the weight forward.Β EV5.1 is check and check of my needs. The sight line on the top works well for micro-aiming while the arched fangs help with macro-aiming for the function of a blade with the benefits of a mallet.
Premium Details
The Evnroll EV5.1 Putter is a premium putter in every way.Β Not only is the technology outstanding and the customization options endless; the finishing details really make this putter stand out.Β The black shaft paired with the all black head makes this putter stealthy.Β The Tour Tac Grip is a soft, tacky 90 gram grip that is slightly oversized, but fits perfectly in hand for reduced tension and great feel.Β The magnetic headcover is thick, well made, looks good and stays on the putter in the bag.
Performance
The Evnroll EV5.1 Putter does its best work on the green.Β All the details above create one of the best performing putters I’ve used.Β It is super consistent, easy to align and putts the ball straight on the line every time.Β Scores were lower with this putter in the bag.Β I didn’t make every putt, but I certainly didn’t miss many either.Β I couldn’t believe how many of the misses almost went in too.Β The speed control was outstanding because the weight worked like a blade, but the stability of the mallet kept everything in line putt after putt.
Summary
The Evnroll EV5.1 Putter has staying power in my bag.Β I’ve had some great scores with many made putts during the last 8 rounds. I’d say this is the best bang for the buck putter you can buy right now.Β The face milling tech is legit as putts roll the same distance with contact just about anywhere on the face.Β The fitting options are extensive too with the different stroke types and head shape preferences.Β If you want a high quality putter but not looking to break the bank, this is one you should check out.
