I cleaned my clubs with the Rixn Scrub Box Pro over the last month. It found a home in the iGolfReviews Office by Carl’s Place DIY Golf Simulator. It allowed me to clean my clubs after rounds as well as making sure any clubs used in the simulator were spotless. This cleaning station also worked well on my putting green and garage to keep my clubs looking like new.

Clean Grooves = Better Shots.
It is a pretty simple equation and proven by plenty of research and data. In order to fully compress the ball, engage the grooves and impart the maximum efficiency of the club hitting the ball; clean grooves are required. There are many different ways to have clean grooves: towel, brush, tee, hands, shoes, pants, sleeve, spit, water, etc. One way it to make sure they arrive at the course clean. If you start with clean clubs, there is a chance that you will take the time to keep them clean during the round too. Good habits on and off the course will lead to better scores. The Rixn Scrub Box Pro is an at-home professional club cleaning station that will get you started with clean grooves.
Scrub Box Pro
We’ve all used some sort of scrub box, bucket or something where you stick the club in, scrub it on some brushes and then wipe it down. Usually these are on driving ranges or there are miniature ones on power carts. They work great for a quick scrub on the course, and can be a groove saver after a range session or in between shots. But what if you could have an even better professional version at home? The Rixn Golf Scrub Box Pro is a nicer version of those that you can keep in your garage, office, putting green or storage room; wherever you keep your clubs. This allows you to give your clubs a quick scrub before or after your round.
Rixn Design
The Rixn Scrub Box Pro is a 4 part club cleaning box. The basin, the scrub section, the rinse area and the brush. The rotomolded basin is much like a yeti cooler. It is super stable, well built and solid. There are 2 closely install vertical brushes that you can slide your club between to remove dirt and grime. There is a large dipping section to rinse off your clubs after scrubbing. If there is stubborn dirt, you can use the hand brush to remove anything else. All of this is conveniently and thoughtfully molded and built into one unit. It is decent size so that you can scrub clubs with force and not worry about tipping it over.
Why Rixn?
The Rixn Scrub Box Pro makes it convenient and easy to wash your clubs. You won’t anger your wife with golf clubs in the sink. You don’t have to fill and dump a bucket out every time you want to clean your clubs. The Rixn Scrub Box Pro will hold “clean” water for a couple months without having to refill it. It sits ready at any time to give those clubs a scrub. It is convenient and functional plus it looks cool. If you have a simulator, this is a must have product. You don’t want dirty clubs hitting golf ball into your screen because it will get dirty then too.
Using a Rixn
The Rixn Scrub Box Pro is very easy to use. Fill it with water and a little laundry soap to the fill line. Insert club, slide it up and down on the brushes, dip it in the rinse side and dry off. I prefer to hand scrub my woods with the brush because how tight the internal brushes are. Rinse and dry off. I keep a towel on the Rixn Scrub Box Pro for drying off the clubs. I wish it had a loop for keep a towel attached to it “permanently”. While it is impractical to take this to the course, taking care of your clubs at home will roll over into taking care of your clubs on the course. Even if you pay the cart attendant to wipe them down, you are still going to want to give them a deep scrub on the Rixn.
Summary
The Rixn Scrub Box Pro is best golf club cleaner box I’ve seen. Even nicer than the ones you find at the golf course. It allows you to keep a cleaning station at the ready all season long. Clean clubs are good for your scores. I hope they take their great eye for design and make something you can take with you on the course too. If you have a simulator this is a mush have so that your clubs or your friends clubs are clean before they hit balls into the screen. It is convenient, works and looks great. You can have a professional cleaning station at home in the office, garage or wherever your keep your clubs.
