Our top gift for 2024 is the gift of golf anytime in the comfort of your own home.  While this only seemed like a dream because of the price tag, Carl’s Place DIY Golf Simulator can be installed for less than $5k in your home, office or garage.  It not only serves as play and practice space, it can also double as a movie theater.  It truly is a gift for the golfer and the whole family.

2. Garmin Approach Z30 Laser Rangefinder & Fenix 8 Watch (The Gift of Accurate Distance)

Laser or GPS?  You can get the both of best worlds from Garmin with their S70 or Fenix 8 watch paired with the Z30 laser rangefinder.  I’m blown away by how accurate and seamless the two technologies work together to have the best course knowledge available for every shot.  They also work separately if only prefer one technology.  Either way you can’t go wrong with Garmin.

3. SuperSpeed Golf Training Aids (The Gift of Better Golf)

The training aid market is loaded with thousands of gadgets and gimmicks to make you a better golfer. I’ve tried many of them, but there are only a few that I still use.  SuperSpeed Golf speed trainers are the one that I use religiously as part of my morning routine.  While it won’t fix swing flaws or correct your slice, it will make you hit the ball further. I went from 100mph swing speed to 110mph swing speed in 2 months.  That is huge off the tee as well as with irons.  Distance is king and swinging faster makes golf more fun, no matter the age or strength.  SuperSpeed Golf works!!

SuperSpeed Golf is running 40% off this Black Friday.

4. Vessel Golf Bag (The Gift of Better Club Carrying)

One of golf’s necessities is a bag.  There are hundreds of options out there from all different brands and all different styles.  They range from small “sunday” bags to huge “tour” bags.  If you want to give the best golf bag then you want to buy a Vessel.  Their quality and style are unmatched.  They can customize it too from even great Christmas personalization.  They continue to update their line in terms of design and material.  The golfer on your list will love anything Vessel offers: Sunday, Stand, Hybrid, Cart, or Tour Bag.

5. Kentwool Socks/2UNDR (The Gift of Comfy Underwear)

Socks and Underwear might seem like a lame Christmas gift.  They are necessities that don’t feel special, until the golfer on your Christmas list puts on a pair of Kentwool socks are slides into 2UNDR underwear.  They are the 2 items that I wear for 100% of my golf rounds. These are the lowest priced items on my list, but some of my favorites.

Kentwool and 2UNDR run big Black Friday sales

6. HeyBike Ranger S E-Bike/Golf Cart (The Gift of On/Off Course Travel)

This is a hybrid golf gift since it can be used both on and off the course.  I love my HeyBike Ranger S E-Bike.  I probably put more miles on it off the course, but have found that with the Divnick bag attachment, I can fly around the golf course.  The scooter or bike mode make riding around fun and fast.  I believe this really is the future of golf and makes a perfect gift this Christmas

Use Code BFF100 for an additional $100 off from HeyBike this Black Friday.

7. Waggle Golf Apparel (The Gift of New Clothes)

Clothes are always a good option for gift giving, but finding something unique and stylish can be a challenge.  Waggle Golf offers the best of all worlds with great fitting apparel, stylish patterns and something for both men and women.  You can get warm or cold weather gear.  They also make the best hats in the business.

Waggle has 30% off everything this Black Friday

8. PXG Golf Balls (The Gift of Golf Balls)

Every Golfer goes through golf balls in a season.  Even really good golfers need to change out golf balls after rounds because of wear and tear reducing performance or for not so good golfers because the balls were lost.  Golfers have their favorite ball either by name or by price.  I think a great value and performing ball are the new models from PXG.  You can go Xtreme Tour or Xtreme Tour X for excellent performance at a great price.

PXG is offering a buy 2 dozen get 1 dozen Free for Black Friday

9. L.A.B. Golf Putter (The Gift of Better Putting)

L.A.B. Golf has taken the putting world by storm.  Every brand is attempting to copy their no-torque balance.  But I’ve found it hard to beat the original on the greens.  They also aren’t sleeping on their success, but continuing to introduce new models to fit the eye of different golfers.  I’ve had huge success on the greens with the DF3 putter.  If your golfer wants to get better on the putting surface, this brand is probably their best option.

L.A.B. Golf has 20% with coupon code THANKS20 this Black Friday

10. MacGregor Golf Clubs (The Gift of New Sticks)

Nostalgia isn’t the only thing that MacGregor has going from them in 2024.  They also produced some excellent performing, great feeling, stellar looking irons and all at a reasonable price.  The return of the Mac has been nothing short of outstanding.  I gamed the MacGregor MT Pro Forged Irons and enjoyed every round I played them.

MacGregor is offering an additional 15% off this Black Friday.

How to Choose the Best Christmas Gift

Is your golfer a weekend warrior, a random charity golf outing participant, an active member of a private club, or somewhere in-between all those?  How much golf “stuff” do they already have?  Have they been dropping hints about golf stuff they likes?  Is their gear new, or older?  These are all questions that should be asked when considering the best golf gift for Christmas.

Your Budget

I don’t know how much you have or want to spend on Christmas Gifts.  I know most Christmas gift are probably sub $500.  If you are reading this list you probably have the resources to get a nice gift for your loved one.   Obviously budget plays a major role in Christmas gifts.  Our list has a pretty wide range of price points and products that will hopefully work for your budget.

Getting Custom Fit

A custom fitting could be the best thing for your golfer’s game, but it does come at the cost of time and money in addition to the clubs.

We think a custom club fitting benefits anyone’s game so much because not only will they receive accurate data on their clubs, but you’ll be able to get them the best clubs for their game.

Frequently Asked Questions About The Best Golf Gifts For Christmas

What do they really want?

I’ll be honest, I’m pretty happy if I get golf stuff for Christmas.  It is even better if it is something meaningful and thoughtful.  Golf is an obvious passion of mine, but that doesn’t mean I have everything and nice and useful items, not golf trinkets are what I want.  Don’t give anything that says golf or has s golfer on it, but get them something useful for golf from the list above.  Even if funding golf purchases is not in the cards this Christmas; spend some time watching or playing golf.

Will they like a Golf Themed Christmas Gift?

YES!!  Unless they don’t golf, they will love a golf related Christmas gift.  Again, the list above will be super helpful, but so will listening to, or even asking what their favorite brands are.  Just because they play Top Flights doesn’t mean that is their favorite brand, it might be a budget thing.  Yes golf themed gifts are good, if they are actually beneficial to golf.  Don’t get them socks with pictures of golf balls on them.

What if they already has everything golf?

Unless you are related to me, I highly doubt they have everything on this list. The budget ranges from $20 to $5,000.  There should be something above that your golfer doesn’t have that they could use.  If you really can’t figure out anything, get them a golf gift card; ones to golf courses are especially appreciated.  They can always use that to get anything they want.
